Now mind you, I don't know exactly what happened, so I am just speculating. We put our trust in people to lead us in various ways, and it never feels good to have that trust broken. But that is why no matter what I share with people, I always say depend on yourself, be accountable to yourself - not on the teachings or services of anyone else - your spirit within has the most answers for you. And of course act out of consciousness. However, the ego has its own consciousness which is sometimes difficult to tell apart for some people from their higher selves, and so intentions can easily get messed up.
