@ LANCE - That is so fantastic to hear that you have begun working with a coach! I love this conecpt myself as there are so many of us today that just want to work together to imrpove our lives so that we may keep growing and expanding as human beings to our highest potentials.

And what a gift to find someone who is so in harmony with you! That is so fantastic!

And as for taking care of oneself, I really cannot recommend it enough. Taking time out for ourselves throughout the day is so vital to our well being, both physical and spiritual. More than anything it connects us back to who we are and grounds us, against all this "madness the world throws at" us sometimes!

Well I look forward to hearing how it is going for you :)

@ JULIE - Okay Julie, first let us begin with a virtual hug! You know, given what we know today about energy and thought forms, I can really feel this. I just read your comment and "feel the hug. It is pretty amazing I must add.

And yes, John and Cheryl were new to me too before this conference, so don't feel bad Julie! But indeed they are awesome. I definitely resonated more with Cheryl's work, but don't get me wrong, having seen John twice over the 4 days - he is great at what he does too.

So yes, we do get into habits, and it would be one thing if those habits were good for us or happy, but it is another when we really don't like them. That should be ringing bells to us from our intuition, our soul to change. It is an awesome, transformational experience!!

See, the thing too about all this self-care is I really want to reach out to people and help them with this, I am really happy with how I manage it in my life - not 100% as there is always room for bettering something, but pretty close I have to say. But what I have leared very quickly is that many people are really resistant to changing their habits, even if their habits or ways are hurting them. So I want to keep connecting to my higher self, to learn "how" to approach this in people in a different way, because one can say all the right stuff, but if the person is resistant to change, not much more can be done, until that person chooses to change - forced changes (even if someone were going to go that route) never stick.

So thank you, thank you and thank you again for the warm comment and yes Julie, when you take care of yourself first, you are that much better equipped to take care of others :)

Oh, Evita, you sharing all this with us has been so much fun! Thank you. Your excitement is palpable, and I can only imagine the energy at the conference; wow!

John Holland is a new name to me. Just last week, I attended a lecture/book-signing by James Van Praagh, whom I've read for years and admire so much. John's the first who confirmed for me what I've often suspected about our chakras' relationships to our physic abilities. (Although keeping them all clear is so important, now I know which ones to pay particular attention to...) And what he said about dreams being symbolic is so true; in fact, I've found that the symbolism is very unique---and changeable---for each of us, all according to what's going with us as we make our paths day by day.

Cheryl Richardson is also new to me. (I think I've been living under a rock!) Her messages are wonderful, and unbeknownst to me, I've started putting some of her suggestions into practice: eliminating (mental) clutter, slowing down, quitting what I don't enjoy. It's making a difference! I've still a ways to go, ESPECIALLY on the eating point. How quickly I've seen that my eating has been, in great part, habitual. My diet's quite good (thanks to you and so many other wonderful friends who gave loving advice---which I'm following, I might add!), but I eat just because it's time. Well, that's changing. Not easily, but I'm making headway. Portion sizes, too, were habitual. I really can eat HALF what I do and still be in fine health---and shape. ;)

The point that really struck me most, though, was about taking care of ourselves first. Cheryl's reasoned explanation just makes so much sense. How few of us really do this. Thank you, Evita, for sharing this with us.

...for sharing ALL of it, really. You're a sweetie, Evita, and I'm just dying to hug you. You're the best!

Hi Evita,
I can really tell how amazing these whole four days were for you - how wonderful!

I love the write up about Cheryl Richardson - a message I fully agree with (although I'm not sure I'm fully living...more work for me to do there...). Self care is so important, and that's something I continue to realize more and more every day. I would also like to say that I've recently began working with a coach - and she's someone that is filled with so much love and compassion - and the experience I'm having with her is completely reaching into my soul! We are connected by telephone - as she is in Florida, and I'm in Wisconsin. Recently, on a personal vacation to Florida, I had the most wonderful opportunity to meet her in person (after many telephone calls) - and it just felt like I was meeting a friend I've known forever. And this all just strenghened our relationship - which we continue currently in very powerful ways for me! And one thing we've recently been talking about is the whole idea of self care and just how good for us this is!

I'm starting to ramble on here (hey, I've done that before, haven't I!). Evita, thanks once again for sharing this experience from your final day of the conference - and really for the whole review of all four days! I'm uplifted just reading how moved you've been by this all!

Evita, thanks for sharing these perspectives. You remind readers that they have opportuities to learn valuable things from everything and everyone. To perceive all experience as a teacher is life-transforming. You are forever changed already and you are not consciously aware of that on all levels.
