@ ROBIN - Thanks for stopping by Robin! I really resonate with that concept because I think we are done with being told how things ought to be, they haven't exactly been working out for the best as we see where we are today and how people continue to live.

The book is definitely a huge stepping stone for how we are going to build the future for our new Earth!

Sounds great, Evita. I like the way he (and you) describe a leader as someone who teaches how to think, rather than teaching what to think. It's an interesting concept, that we are all leaders of the tribes we gather around us. - Robin

@ JANNIE - Hi Jannie and you are welcome! I love reading books period, and if I get the chance to share it with more people out there and perhaps offer them some helpful new material, than even better!

@ LIARA - Thank you Liara, it is my pleasure and well...passion to do so :)

@ SOULMERLIN - Hello Henry, LOL :) so I am persuasive huh? Well I guess that is good news, as long as if what I am leading people towards is a positive thing.

Wow, the theatrical tribe Joseph - that is amazing! I am sure that experience provided many amazing opportunities to grow both as a leader and follower of a tribe for yourself.

Anyhow I hope you enjoy the book - it is a really great read!

@ DOROTHY - Hi Dorothy, you are welcome and I am glad you liked the Compass. I have heard of Guy Kawasaki but have never read any of his books. I look forward to learning more about him from you.

@ LANCE - Lance, my goodness what a motivating and touching comment you have left for me personally, especially in those first few words! You know I feel like I have been a leader of a tribe for the past 7 years, first the children and then in some ways even for some teachers. And I have to say it has felt great. Not from any ego point of view, not because I got or wanted some status, but because it felt so natural, like my natural life calling.

Along my spiritual path I simply stay open to the greater divine purpose for me and let the Universe(God) work through me in loving and peace filled ways.

As for what you said about community - you got it! We really do gravitate towards people who share our common interests and goals. I know it has been a blessing to meet you, and many others who frequent your and my site. I find this fantastic, but in a conscious setting, we just have to remember in our "tribes" not to turn into exclusive or secular groups. We have enough of those out there and most of them are not serving humanity very well.

So here is to many new wonderful tribes, leaders and followers - may we all continue to grow and add to the evolution of this world for the better!

Hi Evita,
I love what you're saying about not wanting to settle. You are living this! You are creating a tribe, right here! And it's because of your passion and belief in what you're doing. And that's all a pretty wonderful thing!

I'm also drawn into what Seth is saying about connection. As I've evolved over the last few years, I really believe, today, that he is so right about this. As humans, we crave connection with others, and in a way that is deeply meaningful to us. Getting there - not always easy, especially if it means stepping outside of what we comfortable doing. If we can, though, take those steps, we CAN connect with others - and connect in deeply meaningful ways - and create something very special.

Evita, I've heard of this book, but not read it. I think it's time to pick up a copy...

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend. Know that it's great for me to be here, and that I most definitely feel a connection - and that's what keeps me coming back... you are living this book's principles...

So I have to buy another book!!! (don't worry, I want to, you've sold it....what a persuader/leader you are)

The reason I want to read it, is that I have spent most of my life being a leader, without wanting the power-trip of leadership: "I'm in Charge, so Shut Up and Listen"

I have been the centre of a theatrical tribe (Joseph) since 1980 ... yet tribes grow within tribes and across tribes, leaders emerge organically and cross-fade with others...this has been my philosophy for quite a few years now.

Anyways...that's why I'm going to order the book.

Evita, you have a way of engaging your readers and empowering them to make more informed choices. Thanks for taking the time to share this material.

Sounds like one great read! I too feel this shift in world consciousness, one that will lift us to great places, hopefully.

Well, am I a traditional thinker or a progresive one? I guess reading this book will tell me! Cool.

Great review, thanks.
