You know it is funny, I feel very similar to you. I also have a science background and, even though I have found proof for so much out there in the metaphysical, where science is concerned, I also feel like I do not need it.

I am a firm believer that when we tap into our inner being, WE know what is “right”, “what makes sense”, and “what is true”, etc. So personally, I just consult my intuition. But having said that I am still very involved in sharing the scientific proof for these things, as I know there are many highly skeptical people out there. I know that the two of us are a minority, where “scientists” go. Most will not believe anything without proof – but that is where faith comes in. I don’t have faith in a larger system or another organization, for even science makes mistakes, and huge ones. Instead, I have faith in me to uncover my own truth and know what resonates with me as truth.

As for reincarnation, it is funny, but if I recall correctly I think I was like you. It just clicked, it made sense and today it completely does not make sense to me to think we only have this, one lifetime.

And while yes tapping into the past can reveal a lot of unexpected things, I also feel that none of that can hurt us today in any way. We grow, we evolve constantly. I think at one time or another, we all did something “bad”, for that is how we learn empathy, love, forgiveness, etc. in many ways.

I remember a client who disputed me. I figured she had a deep energetic connection that was draining her –with her child — but then I got the child was never born. I thought she had a stillbirth.
Upon reading my report, she acknowledged she indeed had a stillbirth but denied she had any remaining issue with it. So … was my reading accurate? I guess it depends on the perspective.

Btw, let me know if you recall the name of that Akashic reader. I’m curious.

Okay, so a number of years ago, I had an Akashic Records Reading. Very interesting and it really resonated with me, until…the woman said the Guardians of the Akasha were showing her that it would be in my highest and best good if I began eating a very simple diet of fresh fruits, vegetables, sprouts, nuts and seeds. She said all chronic health symptoms I was experiencing would vanish, excess weight would melt away, and my body would effortlessly find its natural weight.

Live on fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds? No meat? No dairy? Not even chicken or fish? What, are you kidding me? So I thought she was wacked, and discounted the entire reading.

Ha! Fast forward five years.

Isn’t that a trip? There it was, recorded in the Book of Life. Kinda like a note to myself: “Hey, remember this when you’re miserable and morbidly obese. You’re meant to eat raw, living foods.”

So, when are you getting your reading, Evita? :D

I agree how our past lives affect us today and yet it is up to us how we want to live now.
Regarding the “Hitler” finding. You know, many people dream of finding out their past lives as famous historic figures or some royalties, but my experience is that this happens very rarely. So far I’ve had just one case who was a royal family before (not king nor queen, just one of the children in the royal family) and maybe a handful of noble families. No historic celebs yet.
I did have a client who was a Nazi member before. This was a positive soul (think about it — it was the thing to do for young, ambitious, and bright Germans in those days) but he made a mistake for staying in the group despite his doubt about its activities. Of course, it was hard to leave, but that is no excuse. We had to clear many curses and other energetic issues, and I think this person has a challenge in this life to overcome the tendency to live for the sake of the group.
So even when the finding is surprising and not quite pleasant, the reading and clearing do good! Don’t worry.

I have believed in reincarnation ever since I first heard about it, I think we are the sum total of all our embodiments. So a lot of what we do in this life is a collection of experiences in this life and the previous ones.

For so long, I was interested in knowing about my past lives but then I heard a story of someone who was told he was Hilter in a previous life and that was enough for me to be content to just focus on this embodiment. That said, I am aware that some of the things I do are based in the past and past lives too and I do what I can to heal those areas.

People who do readings like Akemi help shine a light on what we have to work on…the rest is up to us. :)
