Last year at this time, as I was coming closer and closer to the one year anniversary of Evolving Beings, I took some time to reflect on some of the wonderful people that I have been able to connect with on the web through writing.
This year, as I am getting closer to celebrating the 2nd anniversary, I am in awe at how many more amazing, kind, wise and wonderful souls I keep meeting along the way. I feel so blessed and so grateful and hence today want to acknowledge 5 new bloggers who have touched my life over the past year, and Evolving Beings in some special way.
But before we do that, if you have not had a chance to check out the 5 awesome people I mentioned last year, you can do so here. I also want to give you a quick update on where they are, a year later in their own personal journeys and as bloggers.
Robin Easton continues to spread more love, and give each person such special, personal attention, like I have never seen a person do. Her love, kindness and genuine caring ways seem to have no limit, and to this day she writes wonderful articles on her blog Naked in Eden.
Seth Garrison has taken a break from blogging at The Next Age and is currently sharing his wisdom and enlightened ways of living with others he meets all across the web on various social networks and in person.
Jenny Mannion continues to inspire, educate and uplift others through her writing on Heal Pain Naturally. Her joy and gratitude for life continues to expand, and be an amazing resource for those interested in personal growth and healing.
Julie Riddle is living out her dreams of being “retired” at an early age to pursue her passions of living life to the fullest and writing books. She still occasionally writes on Random Meanderings, and is always spreading her love, laughter and passion for life everywhere she goes on the world wide web and in person.
Lance Ekum continues to magnify the meaning of kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity more than anyone I think I have ever known. Through his writing on the Jungle of Life and the connections he makes with people wherever he goes, Lance’s presence becomes magnetic.
And now for the 5 new “Evolving Bloggers“. Theses 5 people are amazing individuals in so many ways and great examples of evolving beings. They also each have their own blogs where they share with the world their talents, kindness, love, peace, enlightened messages and words of wisdom.
Bernie Krausse – Walking In Stillness
Bernie is the author and photographer on 2 blogs. Walking in Stillness is where he shares his wisdom through thoughts, reflections and ideas about life. And on Natural Moments: Bird and Wildlife Photography, Bernie shares his view of nature through his beautiful photography and poetic words.
I am grateful for Bernie because he adds to my life and Evolving Beings, such profound wisdom that is still very rare in this world today. I resonate so much with his thoughts because they are real and carry with them an amazing sense of depth . His authenticity, is perhaps one of his greatest gifts. There is a sense of genuineness and extreme stillness in all that Bernie shares with others. He is giving of his time, as he adds value to many around on the web through the thought provoking comments he shares and his caring ways are exceptional!
What I admire most about Bernie is his sense of adventure and courage. He lives his life. There are no excuses, there is no waiting, there is only the now. Details are not the principal focus, he takes into account the bigger picture of all that is.
I feel so blessed for having gotten to know Bernie and having his presence touch my life because aside from the incredibly wise and inspirational being that he is, I resonate so much with his ideas, personality and energy. A sense of expansion of my own consciousness is within me, thanks to his presence and I feel blessed to call him my friend.
Tess Marshall – The Bold Life
Tess has a blog called The Bold Life. Tess was “born with a bold unstoppable spirit and a great enthusiasm for life” and today is also a life coach to help others attain the life they desire.
I am grateful for Tess because she is like her blog indicates – bold! Tess loves life, loves people and helping anyone she can. She is fantastic at communicating ideas with others, and telling it like it is. Tess has a great sense of humor and adds light and laughter wherever she goes.
What I admire most about Tess is her strength. Tess has had a very adventurous life, and one that was not always “easy”. However, through the years all her experiences have made her the amazing person she is today, and add another reason why she is such a valuable person to know. Tess’ life experience is so precious. Tess extends a helping hand always, and is not only a wise, but a really fun being to know.
I feel so blessed for having gotten to know Tess and having her presence touch my life because I appreciate her excitement for life, her joy and vibrancy, and enjoy greatly the valuable information she spreads to others through her writing and coaching.
Liara Covert – Dream Builders Australia
Liara has a blog called Dream Builders Australia. Liara is a spiritual teacher, dream analyst and author. Her latest book is Self Disclosure: Changes from Within.
I am grateful for Liara because she projects forth a very special type of wisdom about all areas of life. She probes people to think and feel deeper. She empowers us to know that everything we need is always within us. She offers countless thought provoking articles on her own blog, and thoughts and comments for others wherever she goes.
What I admire most about Liara is her eloquence. Liara has the gift to sum up deeply profound wisdom and project a deep message in just a few words. Her gift to see deeper to all sides of life are also an exceptional quality.
I feel so blessed for having gotten to know Liara and having her presence touch my life because aside from the inspirational being that she is, and all the amazing comments that she has contributed to Evolving Beings – and thus my life and into the lives of so many other readers, she is just a really wonderful person to know.
Nadia – Happy Lotus
Nadia has a blog called Happy Lotus. Nadia is an attorney by day, but a writer at heart. She loves life, living with purpose and is also a student of spirituality.
I am grateful for Nadia because she is such a positive, vibrant, happy and uplifting soul in this world. She is not afraid to speak out about issues she is passionate about. But no matter what they are, she projects a loving, caring and nonjudgmental attitude about them.
What I admire most about Nadia is her outlook on life. She lives with passion, with purpose and encourages others to do the same, and that really resonates with me. She is so giving, genuine and loving whether she is writing on her own site, or spreading her wisdom around on other people’s sites.
I feel so blessed for having gotten to know Nadia and having her presence touch my life because I love learning with her, and from her, and it is always such a special feeling to connect with another like minded person in this world.
Akemi Gaines – Real Life Spirituality
Akemi has a blog called Real Life Spirituality. Akemi is an Akashic Record reader, intuitive counselor and writer.
I am grateful for Akemi because she has an amazing database of knowledge that touches upon so many parts of the spiritual and metaphysical world. I am absolutely fascinated by her knowledge and so grateful for the being of love and light that she is.
What I admire most about Akemi is that she sees the future of the world from a positive, light-emanating, love-giving and hopeful side. I really resonate with that and feel the same. She sheds light on so many issues she writes about wherever she goes and always encourages others to re-discover their own creative power, including the power to bring each of our dreams to come true.
I feel so blessed for having gotten to know Akemi and having her presence touch my life because she has contributed to my own personal growth and expansion in so many ways, whether it be through an Akashic Record reading or just being able to bounce off ideas together about the “other” side of life.
Conclusion
There is so much more I can say about these amazing souls, and of course so many other beings out there that have touched my life – to you all I say a big thank you! The gratitude I feel for having so many wonderful people come across my life path is immense and I am deeply touched by each and every one of you!
And so if you have not yet become acquainted with any of the above 5 people, I hope you enjoy getting to know them and their work a little more as, I truly feel it is a great gift to this world. You can learn about each one of them more on their own personal web sites.
Also, I hope you take this time as well to reflect on the special souls in your personal life, whether they be family, friends, co-workers or anyone else who has left a special mark on you. Let them know how much they mean to you today – don’t wait for tomorrow. Each day is a gift to spread love, kindness and joy to ourselves and others – enjoy your opportunities to do so :)

HI Evita,
I love your list of evolving bloggers. I know and have been reading Nadia and Tess for sometime now..and i couldnt agree more. They are simply superb!!
As for the 1 year update on the evolving bloggers of last year…lance, robin and julie i’ve been reading as well.
My my we do have similar choices when it comes to a reading :)
I am going to go ahead and check out the other super bloggers you have mentioned here..I am sure I will love them as well.
With Love,
Zeenat.
Thank you for both lists, Evita. I am just setting out on my spiritual path and am sure that I will find much value in these recommendations. Your tributes to are heartfelt and inspiring. You are truly a blessing to many!
Hi Evita,
I remember so well when you did this last year – and how touching your words were at that time. That’s a real gift that you have, how you really shine your light and love onto others. And it’s more than that, too – it’s that you do this so selflessly and with great care.
Reading about how you’ve been personally touched by each of these five people today is wonderful. It is, because I’ve also had the opportunity to get to know each one of these amazing individuals. And I know that the words you share are spoken from deep within…just like what each of these people share.
Evita, you continue to show just how beautiful it is to write from the heart. You are a blessing to all those whose life you touch in some way…including mine, my friend…
I love all the “new” people you mentioned, and have greatly benefited from their wisdom, love and presence. Akemi and Bernie are the most new to me, yet I’m familiar with them because of you and/or Liara! I think that’s just great. What a beautiful way you summed up how everyone has touched you.
And may I just say that you, Evita, touch my life very deeply through all that you do.
Love & joy to you!
Evita,
I missed last years and only recently found Robin Easton. That woman is on an entire different level than I am. I’m going to allow her to take me higher in my thinking and wisdom.
Evita,
How exciting to find myself here!
I only found Bern recently as well or should I say he found me. What a life he has created for himself. His photos are beyond precious and beautiful.
I’ve printed off many of Liara’s articles for future reflection and journaling. She sure gets me thinking. Some times she’s a little over my head but that’s where real learning comes in.
Nadia…we need more people like her who aren’t afraid to speak or act on their truth. She’s a great example for all of us on the journey. Yes she does live with passion, doesn’t she?
I don’t know Akemi well and all these people and their blogs make me feel like a kid in a candy store!
I am blessed and grateful for our “evolving friendship” and look forward to more fun, laughs and learning in the future. It was Julie who told me about your blog!
Lots of light and love shining back at you!
She wrote something on Wilma’s blog that blew my mind aboout listening!
Hi,
Thank you for the mention! I feel so honored.
It’s been great to know you, Evita, and the feeling of gratitude for our friendship is mutual. And how wonderful it is to expand the circle of friendship — I’ll check out others that you mention.
Blessings,
Akemi
Hi Evita,
I am so touched and somewhat speechless….kind of strange for a writer to be rendered speechless! Thank you so much for mentioning me and for including me with such amazing people. I am honored to be in such company. I am also touched with all that you wrote. What we see in others is a reflection of ourselves. So all that you wrote about is a reflection of what is within you. You are a beautiful soul who is doing her best to have a life that she loves. You are an awesome person who is doing her part to spread love and joy. I am blessed to know you and thank you for being in my life too!
And Tess, thank you so much for what you wrote. Just know that your ability to live boldly is something that I admire tremendously. Not to mention the fact that you have been a student of ACIM for twenty years which is impressive. That is a hard book to master so anyone who has been a student of it for so long, I bow in admiration. You go, girl!
Oh, Evita, you continue to amaze and inspire me! First, thank you so much for this wonderful tradition you created for yourself—and for the rest of us. Loving and respecting you as I do, I am sincerely interested in those who have special meaning for you. My world—all our worlds—cannot have too much goodness and Light! Love, kindness, and inner wisdom is generously spread by each of the wonderful people mentioned here, and I am honored to call several “dear friend,” am delighted to know most of the rest, and very excited to be introduced to new love-shiners!
But Evita, you are one of the brightest! Your effervescent enthusiasm for spiritually holistic living and continued evolvement is particularly inspiring because of your incredibly joyous passion. You, my lovely, radiate such joy for life, a joy that lifts and nudges and beckons all to follow. Yours is one of the greatest gifts: You shine your light so brightly that the world around you expands. Joy lifts the clouds of darkness and passion wafts them away, leaving the cleanest, brightest canvas on which to paint vibrant new life. You are a master at this, and you share it with everyone so freely. You are a beautiful person spreading beauty with every word you pen.
You have touched my life profoundly, Evita, and I am forever blessed. May I pass it along…
Loving you,~Julie
Evita,
Thank you for your list. I will look up the writers I am unfamiliar with because I know they will have something to teach me. You shine a bright light here and I am glad for all that you share:)
Evita…. you actually made me cry with such beautiful words. Those are the most touching and loving thoughts that have ever made their way to me. Its strange, but, not too many people get, or understand me. I’m actually quite invisible to most of the world. If I talk around here about my ideas, I get glazed eyes and the nodding of heads as a result. The words don’t resonate with most people. You, and people like Liara and Julie and Robin and others in this blogging community bring happiness and joy into my life. I feel so alive to interact and to be actually listened to, as if for the very first time. It can be a lonely existance living your own dream when it differs so dramaticly to the world that surrounds us. You are a blessing, and you are a BRIDGE that will span and connect many worlds, dimensions, and languages that are currently being spoken and lived. You are on the Frontier, and you are an Awesome Leader and Friend.
Thank you for Being truly Human.
Wow, I just discovered your blog and I am very impressed with the content and sincerity of your posts. Congratulations on the two year anniversary and I will be sure to come back more in the near future!
Great list. I know three…thanks for introducing me to the others.
k
Hello everyone and thank you SO very much for all your comments. I am traveling at the moment and will be replying to each comment when I get back.
I am deeply touched by all the sentiments shared here. It was such a pleasure to write this and share my gratitude about so many of the amazing people out there and to have the love come back like this to me just made this experience completely humbling. Thank you.
Oh what a wonderful list and yes they are great folks and wonderful reads…and now I have a new one to add to my list too – Bernie…what a great Thank you and sharing gift…so I say Thank you to you
Lovely words and writing – always learning something new when I drop by…
Hey Evita this is definitely a very great list.
It is extremely moving to see those growing bloggers because they are all such beautiful and selfless people. They have the gift of giving to others and granting us with admirable and wise life style philosophies. They are surely great individuals :)
Thank you for providing this list, I am going to go check them out now! :D
Steven
You have picked some wonderful people. Most of them have touched my life as well. It’s funny how they all touch people in such a profound way.
They have a gift.
I’m learning from their example and trying to create connections like they do. Because at the end of the day it’s who we love that truly shows our greatness.
Oh Evita, you sure have brought some wonderful loving energy together by having all these wondeful courageous trail blazers mentioned in one place.
They are all amazing in their own right, and all bring a wonderful different perspective which makes you see things that would other wise stay invisible.
It gives me great hope to see the love with which they and you travel.
I too would like to say a big thank you to you and all your friends, may we all keep continuing shining brightly to reach the tipping point.
Peace and love to all, Wilma
Hi Evita – You’ve included some of my favourite bloggers here. I haven’t been reading much for the last few weeks but I’m looking forward to getting back into it. And I have to check out Bernie’s blog for the first time – I love wildlife photography. Thank you.
Evita….do you know how much you rock?
You are grounded, inspiring, and deeply insightful. And of course, you would highlight some of my all time favorite people!!! This is a great list. Evita, I love your blog. Keep on being the leader and incredible and evolving being yourself!
Dearest Evita.
You are soooooooo generous of heart and spirit that this WHOLE thing made me sit here tonight and cry. My computer is down and in the shop and I’ve having web hosting problems. I’m on an old lap top that is so slow It took almost 3 minutes to open this page. I can’t comment even if I am patient as I am spending all day and night backing up my website and blog (due the hosting problems). But I was thinking about you today and missed you. So I sat here playing the piano while waiting for your page to open. Yes, it took that long. :)
It hit me while reading all this that you have chosen and surrounded yourself with people who are what YOU are. All the things that you say about each of us…are YOU. You know Evita, I’ve had a very rough week and when I came here and saw this not only did I do quite a bit of crying, but I found it very very healing to be included with YOU and these truly lovely and dear people. It was like you held me and the whole stress of my week washed away. And I felt a strong strong bond to you and ALL the people here that I’ve connected with and love.
I feel like you all are part of a fabric that helps support who I am. I don’t even have to think of each person specifically to feel this. It’s like all the threads of a beautiful weaving; they are ALL beautiful on their own and yet put together they are BRILLIANT beyond words. It would be so amazing to be in the same room with all these people and YOU.
This week I have been hiking across the high desert at sunset and the other night I thought of you and the beautiful emails you’ve sent me with the various photos. And I thought I have to tell Evita how much they mean to me. I have often wished my work load was not so intense right now so I had more time to respond. But I want you to know that you are with me…always, Evita. Your uniquely pure innocent beauty just bring tears to my eyes. You are seen and loved. Robin
Hello everyone – I am back from my travels and completely taken in by all your beautiful comments. I almost want to choose my words wisely as I don’t want to take away in any way from the love and beauty you have all added here. My heart is over-filled with your thoughts and words and I am forever grateful for all the love you have added to our world and Universe – the ripple effect of your actions here will touch many lives to come with love, compassion and kindness! My humble thank you’s go out to you all!
@ ZEENAT – Thank you Zeenat for your comment – it is wonderful to learn from others with unique view points, but of course so amazing to surround ourselves with like minded people. I am so fortunate to have met all these souls and it is wonderful to hear our interests overlap in enjoying their work :)
@ HANLIE – Your comments always put a HUGE smile on my face. Although miles apart, I really feel like I “know” and resonate with your energy so well. Thank you and the souls I mentioned and their work are so awesome in so many ways to make a person really “think”, grow and evolve. I highly recommend them all!
@ LANCE – Hello and wow – yes, can you believe it has already been a year since I wrote about 5 special people to me the first time, and here we go a year later…I am amazed at how much we have all grown and how much closer we have become as well – what a gift!!!!
I am so, so happy to be able to call you a friend today and am so grateful for the gift of your presence in my life to this day! Thank you Lance, really for everything!
@ MEGAN – Thank you Megan for sharing your experiences with some of the people I mentioned here and I am glad I was able to share some new people who are also amazing souls to learn with and from!
And thank you for your beautiful words too about me. I am so thankful too for having met you and am loving the journey of getting to know you more and sharing our joys together as we grow and learn :)
@ TESS – Hi Tess and thanks so much for sharing such valuable thoughts about some of the beings mentioned here.
It was an honor to include you as I really have been touched by your vitality and energetic approach to life – it is so great! So thank you for being you and I look forward to sharing in the journeys we both travel as time goes on…
@ AKEMI – Hi Akemi and the pleasure is all mine! I enjoy our friendship and learning experiences :)
@ NADIA – Nadia, I totally know what you mean about being speechless – it is a “funny” feeling. When it comes to what was said here by all the comments I too feel so speechless, it is like there are no words or right words to truly describe the amount of love and gratitude that one can share. It is a beautiful feeling though to be surrounded by such amazing energies – yours being one of them! Thank you so much for all you have said and it was such a pleasure to include you!
And I so agree about the ACIM…it is not an easy book to master, so many props to Tess for taking on that journey and sharing her wisdom with others!
@ JULIE – Dear Julie, I do not want to say anything to take away from your beautiful comment. Your words always humble me so much, and making me nothing short of speechless, as I feel my heart warm and expand to dimensions I did not know possible.
I have so enjoyed sharing these beautiful words about all those mentioned last year and this year, and feel forever blessed for having come across them (which of course includes you). Thank you again for being who YOU are Julie – your presence will forever inspire and uplift me to a higher state of being!
@ JOY – Hello Joy and this was truly my pleasure! I hope you enjoy the writing and wisdom that each of these authors shares :)
@ BERNIE – When I read your comment, I again was rendered speechless…except that this time I had to hold back tears of my own. It is a funny thing that happens to me, when overcome with emotion (good emotion) I do feel that some tears have become a natural thing, especially when someone dear to me shows tears, it invokes them in me as well. I have also learned for the most part, not to hold them back. I embrace them and do not equate them today with pain.
Bernie, all that I said came not only from my heart, but I feel like all that you say is so “normal” with a fresh breath of air type of feeling. I know the feeling too of feeling “isolated” for thinking a certain way. In the last couple of years of my personal changes, I did not pretend to be someone I wasn’t, I just did not share the real me openly. I knew that people in our society don’t really think like “that”. This is why having this community of like minded souls here, connecting with them and sharing with them is such an amazing blessing.
I have to be honest, I don’t think the full impact of your words to me will kick in for quite some time yet. It is something I will savor for a long, long time to come.
Ultimately Bernie, I know that no words here will or can really express what I feel for a connection to a soul like you. So I will leave it as a simple “thank you” and allow the nature of our higher selves to relay the depth of my feeling properly. Thank you for being YOU!
@ STEVEN – Hi Steven and welcome to Evolving Beings. It is so wonderful to hear that the material and my writing style resonate with you. I just like to say it as I feel it, and I think in a world where there are so many “cover ups” by so many organizations we are all craving for some real authenticity and sincerity. So it is my intention to share that not only with the people who I come across each day personally, but also through my writing and the connections I make with the people on the web.
@ KAUSHIK – Hi and thanks for checking out these awesome souls! I hope you enjoy getting to know the new ones!
@ PATRICIA – You are so welcome Patricia and thank you right back to you :)
@ STEVEN – Hello Steven and what beautiful words you have shared here about bloggers. You know I wholeheartedly agree – there are many, many selfless bloggers out there today who write and share their love, passions and knowledge just to share with others or help them – most of them with no monetary gain from it.
It is wonderful to see the world we can create when individuals who are so giving collaborate to make this place the best it can be :)
@ KARL – Hi Karl and what amazing thoughts you have included here! Yes, it is amazing to be touched in a deep way by people out there and it really does matter at the end of the day how we loved and cared for another. All the material stuff really passes away in comparison to what the heart is capable of!
Thanks for your comment and keep on spreading the love that you do when it comes to work happiness. There are a lot of people in need of happiness when it comes to their jobs, and you are providing so much value through what you write!
@ WILMA – Hello Wilma! You know as I mentioned I enjoyed doing this so much! It is amazing how acts of kindness may indeed impact another, but what amazing results they bring to the person performing the act! Truly it feels AMAZING and I love adding to the positive energy of the Universe through things like this! So thank you Wilma for all the wonderful work you do on the net and may kindness and love always light your path, as you light the paths with those for others.
@ CATH – Hi Cath, so great to hear from you here! And yes I highly recommend Bernie’s blog as he has not only caught some amazing shots of wildlife, but the words that he includes with all of his photos are a gift on their own to our heart, mind and spirit.
@ KATIE – Wow Katie, you put such a huge smile on my face with your comment, especially that first line – that my mouth actually hurt. Thank you – that was really something!
And thank you for the feedback about this site, it really means so much Katie and I hope to always inspire, encourage and empower others through love, light and unity!
@ ROBIN – Dear Robin…when I saw your comment, I took a moment before I read it, as I have come to know that when you speak, each and every, and I mean every single one of your words is filled with an energy that has so much love wrapped around it that as Tess said, “you are on an entirely different level” than most.
And than Robin when I read about your computer troubles, and the fact that you still waited for the page to load. And that you still commented, even though you knew it was going to be so time consuming and probably very frustrating dealing with the technological problems you had. Robin – what do I say to that? And more importantly do you know how much that says about you!?!?! My God, you are someone who I don’t think anyone here would disagree with me if I called you a saint.
What you do for this world, for the forests, the wildlife and the people is so admirable and that is why I am so, so fortunate to call you friend.
I am so touched to hear that you enjoy the emails and the photos, they are really a pleasure to share with you and I never expect anything in return. I am just so glad to know you and be friends. Thank you Robin from the depths of my heart and being for the person you are, and the way you touch my life.
What a beautiful group of bloggers and people. Before everyone awakens for their Thanksgiving Day I plan to take some time and read about them. Real bloggers! So nice.
