Moving Beyond the Holy Day to Holiness and Wholeness Now

“Pollinate All the Hearts within the Environment of your Making.” – Bernie Krausse

Every special event, every holiday, and therefore every issue has its purpose to be explored and understood in our daily lives.  It is a grand mystery that unravels its self, so that we can see the “Self” more clearly. What was hidden in the knots, and that which lacked focus in the shadows comes into the light of day to be joyous.

The purpose of any matter therefore is to fully explore and accept the physical into the essence of our being.

It is a re-absorption of the neglected and the hidden.
It is a game of hide and seek.
It is a celebration where the unknown merges with the known.
It is the heart of any “Moment “, where we find peace with the object of our attention.
It is love… and this is the destiny and conclusion of any game.
It is the “a-ha” moment that relieves us of our tensions and opens up a situation where all pain simply falls away.
It is the age old story of Life and Living.

When we resolve our focus on that which matters to us in the realm of matter, we then turn within and begin to tell the tale of our choosing.  We learn to create our ever-changing and flowing reality in this “One” true moment.

On the path to liberation and personal awakening, we begin to take notice of the automated responses we are exhibiting in response to the outside world.  There is a time for everything we are told…. and often someone will look at the calendar and tell us that the time is today… and so we must all jump into action.

It’s Christmas time, so says one religion and its governmental allies, and so we must act outside ourselves in observance of a past event that projects the hidden Christ within, as something separate and outside of us.  We therefore lose sight of the “Here and Now” and become lost in time, and relegated to remembering an aspect of our soul that we have simply misplaced as a concept outside of our selves.

It is Thanksgiving time, and we are told to celebrate the harvest and to appreciate family and friends.  When the lesson is truly learned, we realize the harvest is ongoing and that life bares fruit when we are always thankful.  One then learns that we hold the seasons and seasoning in life, no matter what the time of year it is.

It is always summer, winter, spring, or autumn somewhere on earth and therefore it is somewhere within us right Now.  We can summon those feelings and experiences to the surface for us to enjoy by simply allowing them to rise.

Today may be your birthday, and the world says you can be special today.  You believe this, and it can be fun.  But if you redefine the meaning of your birthday to one of expressing your true feelings in the moment…. then you are always giving birth and resonating something unique into this moment.

It’s President’s day, and we are told to celebrate those people that our ancestors elected to control their lives, because they voted for someone else other than selves.

And soon it will be Valentine’s Day.  It is a day when we are to focus on the matters of the Heart. Have you ever noticed that Valentine’s Day has symbolism that points to stealing one’s heart and puncturing it with sharpened arrows, thereby wounding one’s Whole and Holy essence? For some, it is a game of attachment where two sides of a single coin are in servitude to each other.  It is a day of great and often unfulfilled expectations where gifts are usually offered to fill gaping holes. “You are mine” is the motto, versus “I belong to everyone and everything.”

These, again, are clues to the fact that the heart is damaged and is not open to embracing the Moment.  People are not supposed to own pieces of our Heart.  Evolving Beings have the awareness to re-establish the Heart connection and to revel in its expressions.  When one truly touches Love, there is no need to celebrate the matters of the heart on a single day.  Matter simply drops away exposing an open heart that allows love to be made with all of existence.  There is no longer the concept of Being Mine alone.  There is only connectivity with Abundance and diversity where we all celebrate life with our ability to create.

In Truth, there is nothing wrong with any of these holidays and special events.  But beyond time and space, there is so much more for all of you evolving beings that are gathered here today.  Instead of marrying one person, you find union with infinity.  One is therefore married to God and to one’s personally intended and cultivated feelings.

The holidays are points to be resolved.  In the Now there are no more resolutions as in New Year’s Day.  These days are falsified Holy Days that keeps one trapped in Time and Space.  Holiness and Wholeness comes with each breath you take. It can not be found in time. Therefore these events are clues to something that can be reclaimed within you.

It is Now always Christmas and one has found the Christ within.
It is Now always Thanksgiving and thankfulness creates the Harvest that one reaps.
It is Now one’s birthday because one creates and gives birth to one’s next Moment.
It is Now Easter because One has risen above the dead and beyond the concept of death and dying.
It is Now President’s day and one is celebrating that you are your own Commander and Chief.
It is Now Voting Day and One will only vote for one’s Higher Self and for the expression of one’s uninhibited Soul.
It is Now Valentine’s Day and One loves unconditionally everything that crosses One’s path. You give your heart openly to All that resonates with you.

Conclusion

Holidays and special events only become Holy when we embrace them and reclaim  them to be expressed in this One Moment beyond time.  It is Up to each and every one of you to unravel the mysteries of life so that you can open your self up and become a Gift to the World.

Bernie, you point it out beautifully by showing these dates and our automated responses to them.
It is indeed time that we “begin to take notice of the automated responses we are exhibiting in response to the outside world.”
We are so not aware and so gullible and so ripe to be manipulated everywhich way.
I really love how you show this and you cannot deny that we are so far off the game when you look at how we behave.
Until we indeed go within and become strongly connected to a wholesome whole, in our separatedness we are gullible to believe things that are not serving us or the whole.
Thanks Bernie, I loved this, Wilma

    • Bernie says:

      Thank You Wilma,

We are living in a time where we have the opportunity to go beyond the calendar. Much in society is scheduled and is rarely spontaneous. Feelings should not come with stipulations. If they do, then the feelings get bonded and encircled by our thoughts. The thoughts of how, when, and why then interfere with the stimulus and sensations of the Moment, which unfortunately do not get honored when we think before we feel.

  2. I like to think of holidays as way to reground my perspective. I try to be thankful for my family and friends every day, but I don’t always do this. I use Thanksgiving as a reminder to stay in the moment and appreciate all the good people in my life.

    • Bernie says:

      Hi Karl ~

I agree that Thankfulness is a great tool to ground us in the moment. When we become grateful of that which we label beyond what one considers good moments or bad moments or good people or bad people, then we are faced with our buried feelings of the past, which is an aspect of our karma. Perceived turmoil may arise, but this is an excellent sign because as it arises, one can transmute the emotions of the past, and release them to truly find a centered peacefulness.

However, one must truly feel the perceived pain to let it go, and not to keep the angry ghosts at bay. And from this re-alignment point we can decide what to do with each moment beyond time. When One takes this next step, One processes the stimulus and releases the feelings into the world making it a better place. One then stays in alignment because one is being true to each moment and not delaying what is being experienced for a later processing date.

So thoughtful, Bernie. So you. I love this line above all: “Holiness and Wholeness comes with each breath you take.” I’d add that when we don’t choose, in the moment of each breath, to feel our holiness and wholeness, we feel instead a form of hell. Therefore, heaven and hell are within our reach at all times and are of our own choosing. Holidays are wonderful reminders to seek those uplifting and generous feelings all the time. Thank you, Bernie. ~Julie

    • Bernie says:

      Hi Julie ~

Thank you for visiting me in cyber-heaven. :)

Breathing like any discipline gives us the opportunity to place our attention firmly on our actions of the moment. At first, it feels hard because one has forgotten what it means to be centered. One becomes labored. It feels like work because one is trying to create an action with our thoughts instead of following the action with our feelings.

When we learn to feel the energy that arises in the moment instead of thinking about it, which equates to judging it, then we can experience full resonance and communion with the object of our attention. Meaning is manifested. And then from these new feelings that happen in the Now, we can use our thoughts to describe the feelings that just occurred. The descriptions are then a by product and radiance of a glorious moment. Thoughts then fulfill their purpose, instead of the thoughts having control of our every move and breath we take, which is an equation that results in a hellish scenario.

Instead, we can experience the exponential growth of feeling fresh.

Hi Bernie! This post is WONderful! I celebrate every day – seriously getting into a rush of gratitude when I first awaken. It hasn’t always been this way – it took nearly 60 years to get here to this but I find I have no particular use for “holidays” at all, not the ones on the calendar. LOVED this post!
    Hugs,
    suZen

    • Bernie says:

      Hi Suzen ~

I am happy that you feel WONderful because it brings a smile to my face that you feel like a winner. And wonderful brings one in contact with ONEderful where we always feel connected to other aspects of our selves by being open and available to everything that resonates with us Here in the Now.

Let us all celebrate the Secret to feeling alive where everyday becomes a gigantic Super Collective Holiday or Holy Moment.

  5. Joy says:

Oh yes! My heart leaps at this post. *This* is exactly how I feel about the holidays/special occasions. Every single day should be full of the special moments these celebrations have for us. Every day full of love, joy, celebration, special tokens, gifts, words of appreciation, moments that make your heart smile, things shared with loved ones that make their hearts smile. Thank you, thank you for stating this so very clearly and sharing it with eveyone:)

    • Bernie says:

Your welcome Joy…..love your name :)

Each moment becomes a gift when we are truly authentic with our feelings. The purging of the old feelings that are trapped within us will lead to a new expansive way of interacting within our personalized environments. When we can touch the Now, we know exactly what is required of the moment to uplift and elevate the vibrational essence of the partner that is momentarily before us that fills our eyes with wholeness and perfection.

  6. I love the way you have put holy days into perspective. I also agree with Julie that when we’re not expressing wholeness we create our personal hell. Knowing that I want all of my moments, hours and days to be whole and holy. I love the photo. Bleeding hearts are my moms favorite flower!

    • Bernie says:

Thank you Tess…..I took the photo a couple of springs ago before departing across the Pacific Ocean to spend the summer in the Aleutian Islands. I sense the photo has a lot to reveal if it is absorbed fully into one’s being.

This is true with anything we place our attention upon. Everything makes us truly feel something unique in the moment. Nothing is supposed to be the same, although society and cultures usually push this agenda heavily. If one considers we are all the same and come from the same stock or source, then what good is there in having the same dream. We can spend our time exploring the variability that our senses provide.

  7. I think that’s such a great point, Bernie (and I love your writing, by the way). This paragraph, in particular, got me excited today, so I thank you for it: “It is always summer, winter, spring, or autumn somewhere on earth and therefore it is somewhere within us right Now. We can summon those feelings and experiences to the surface for us to enjoy by simply allowing them to rise.”

I choose spring today, because it is NEWNESS, and regeneration, and blossoming life. That’s what I allow to rise to the surface today.

Evita – awesome guest author; thank you!

Thank you so much Megan ~

Its fun to know when we have a connection with one another.

Seasons when taken in the context of linear time causes us to relegate our experiences in relationship to what we are experiencing in the external world. For instance, it may be snowing, and so through the mentality of automatically bonding with the association of cold or discomfort, our experience is spelled out for us. We are under a Spell and are programed to respond instead of allowing for the snow to make us feel something unique and special in the moment.

We can bring the four seasons into a few moments. The snow makes us spring forth and jump for joy. It gives birth to the action of making a snow angel which then becomes a summer event related to creating and growing an object of our desire. It is then autumn within when we sit back and look at our snow angel creation. How does this object on the canvas of the snow now makes us feel. We digest its contents in Thanksgiving. Winter has now arrived and we glow with the newly arrived contents within our being. We are integrating what we have learned, and from this integration we spring forth brand new, even if the environment appears similar, or if it snows again. I this next Spring Moment, perhaps we will build a sled….

  8. Beautiful article!

At this very moment I am feeling very in touch with abundance, a feeling which is always here for the taking but sometimes I forget to appreciate and connect. We are all one heart, 365, forever.

Feeling good! Your article, Bernie, fills me with joy. Thank you!!

    Love to all.

    • Bernie says:

Thank you Jannie ~ I always have fun seeing your surname. You are someone who was destined to see the fun in everything. :)

So true……when we finally can hear the unique rhythm of our own heartbeat…..then we can sense the rhythms that surround us, and can dance to all of our hearts collective delight.

  9. Evita Ochel says:

    Hi Bernie

This article was a gem – thank you so much for contributing it here! It resonated with me so very much, as I have found myself moving away from any and all holidays in the past couple of years, and celebrating any day and any moment as a special one.

Today, if me and my husband feel called to doing something out of the ordinary we do it – doesn’t matter what day of the week it is or what date it is. Saying thanks, or being warm hearted to others or generous has become part of a normal routine.

As you said, I find that it really comes down to living in the moment, being conscious, feeling the now – then any moment, any day can be everything and anything we want it to be :)

    • Bernie says:

      Hi Evita ~

True celebration transpires as we merge with the essence of what Is, who wears a morphing costume to forever more tantalize our expanding eyes.

Thank you so much for allowing me to share your space and to connect with those who have risen to the Love of our collective Journey.

  10. Liara Covert says:

Bernie, I love how you invite people to awaken to the range of feelings available to them every moment. You highlight the energy within and how it can be harnessed by each to help grow, expand and remember what matters.

One perspective is human beings are conditioned to create a sense of and ground themselves in linear time. To facilitate this programming, humans are given calendars, taught designated holidays and festivals that are expected to arrive at specific moments. The feelings you associate with memories of holidays can be viewed as mental programming triggered by what society wants you to feel and when. As you reclaim your inner power, you remember you feel all emotions every moment or reconnect with love that has power to balance everything right now. True celebration is indeed experienced through accepting the natural flow of all feelings. They all raise awareness in everyone, yet ultiamtely require no labels, no holidays, no reason to be experienced based on what other people want you to feel. You attune to what you choose. To awaken is to break free of programming and to experience what you are behind all the fog. WHat you find may suprise you or not.

    • Bernie says:

      ~ Liara ~

You wonderfully emphasize the power to just Be……to grasp at Nothing while truly feeling everything. By finding authenticity in our movements and momentary actions, the rippling effect takes humanity on cosmic ride; introducing new energy and new blood to mix in with the gene pool….forever more creating new variations of experience for All to enjoy.

  11. Stacey says:

I have a feeling that Holidays first started when people were more closely connected to the earth, they were one with her energy and cycles. So the holidays were a celebration of the shifting of energy, it was to honor the seasons and the beautiful experiences they brought with them. They were truely Holy days to celebrate the beauty of life!

As we have moved farther from nature as a society, the meaning of holidays has slowly shifted from this beautiful connection with nature into tieing one into societys rules and bonds. As you share, they have become a time to tie you into how society expects one to react emotionally. They have become a time of commercialism and obligation, instead of a time of truely celebrating the beautiful energy of that moment!

As you share, there is nothing wrong with the holidays, they can become an experience along the spiritual path. But it is valuable to step back and reflect on how and why you are celebrating them.

Thank you for sharing this perspective on the holidays, and creating a way for people to reflect on what they mean to them.

    • Bernie says:

      ~ Hi Stacey ~

I like the visualization of one’s celebrating the shifting of energy which truly can be achieved as we interact between each other. We can begin to focus our energy towards meaningful relationships in our lives. If we realize we can connect personally and intimately with all of creation, then all of life becomes a celebration because one feels wide open to discovery with every interaction.

We can continue to honor the Seasons when they come to mind just as we can honor the meeting and momentary joining of two souls who have something to exchange with one another. Everything is personal and loving if we only allow it to be so.

      Happy Trails :)

  12. Thank You Bernie!!! Where I come from it’s called “walking in beauty”. And your exactly right. It is love that holds all of existance. The One love free to all to experence. It’s allways been there and always will be. That’s why a Human that is Being will last forever… keep on keepin’ on… mike

    • Bernie says:

      Mike ~

How wonderful ~ I equate “Walking in Beauty” with the phrase “Walking in Stillness”, where a still mind reveals an open heart. An open Being can truly dance and sing with a partner that calls forth an eternal Moment. It is an awakening invigorated by free flowing energy that transforms the landscape and playground of the Soul.

  13. Hi Bernie and Evita,

What a beautiful post, Bernie! I totally agree with all that you wrote. Every single day is a celebration of some kind and often people look to holidays as a way to have extra joy or to treat themselves or someone that love to a gift.

The interesting thing about life is that tomorrow is never a guarantee. So if I think it is important to just celebrate being alive every day. If I see something that I know someone will love, I buy it and give it to them without waiting for a particular holiday or event.

Every day is a present and a chance to make the most out of life.

Thank you so much for spreading this awareness.

    • Bernie says:

      Hi Nadia ~

I totally see and enjoy what you are saying…..thank you…..when we are alive ~ the by-product is celebration. A celebration can not be a mandatory event. We celebrate automatically when we are in alignment in the present moment. There is no trying times then. All of our thoughts and actions become gifts to the world when we resonate fully with our surroundings….both internal and external.

  14. Robin Easton says:

    Hi Bernie and Evita,

When I saw this in my RSS, I was drawn here. I stopped doing all traditional holidays several years ago when I started to LIVE the original intent that was often behind the birth of certain holidays. I have found my life much more easeful and stress free. More importantly I have found that I live this One Moment more fully. Every Moment became a holiday for me in that it became filled with gratitude, joy, openness, love, exploration and adventure.

I remember as a school kid living for holidays and then later realizing that I did that because my life at school was sooooooo empty and soulless for me. When I was later able to be full-time in Nature I lived SO FULLY and joyously EVERY moment that all holidays were forgotten. My Moment to Moment life had become SOOOOOOO much larger than scheduled holidays. Now, no matter where I am I simply find the miracle of “being” a joyous gift beyond words.

What a beautiful and creative sharing this is.
I felt so lighthearted reading it.
Thank you dear Bernie. Hugs, Robin.

    • Bernie says:

Thank you so much my dear friend Robin….

When I was a kid, i always relished Christmas…but then as I began to question life…I said, oh no, not Christmas. I saw so many wasteful gifts…..they were wasteful in that they were empty and provided no sustenance for the soul. I saw consumption based on a mandate that we had to give somebody something. So I became a rebel and I didn’t celebrate Christmas one year.

But then I grew again….and I looked at Christmas once more….I loved the lights and the trees and the gifts that lit people up as if they were trees themselves. And I thought….I love the ambience of christmas lights…why are we taking them down if we like them. People are just telling us what to do again. We have lights hung up right now that we can turn on when ever it strikes a chord. There is still a baby christmas tree in our room because it brings a little bit of nature that I love to the indoors. It reminds me of the transcendental experience and what my goals in life are. Then I saw that all of our actions can be gifts if we truly commune and listen to the moment. All requirements for living are satisfied when we feel in relationship directly to the collective energy that surrounds us. This is presence. This is the Gift we receive and give. Therefore, I have found Christmas within my Self, everyday, by always being the best that I can be.
