During the past 5 years of my life, I have made many changes in every area of my life. Spiritual and personal growth will do that to you.
One of the biggest changes has been resigning from my comfortable job, and moving into working from home, for myself.
In making this change, I have learned a lot, and still continue to, about what works and what doesn’t when we take our work environment into our own hands. This is a wonderful journey and I recently had the pleasure to share all that I had learned with readers on Karl Staib’s Work Happy Now site in a 3 part series.
In part 1 – Why Companies Should Allow Their Employees to Work From Home – I share with you some of the current data and reasons how working from home can be a great benefit to employees and employers alike.
In part 2 – 5 Important Rules to Follow When Tele-commuting – I share with you some advice that can help make the work at home or tele-commuting experience a great one for all involved.
In part 3 – 7 Tips to Survive and Thrive When Working From a Home Office – I share with you my experience of what has worked for me while working from home, in terms of the environment one can have and how to approach your work. I also share with you a video that features a quick tour of what my personal home office looks like.
If you currently work from home for yourself or for a company, or perhaps are having some thoughts about doing so in the near future, or have an interest in what working from home is all about, than please join me over on Karl’s site as I discuss the different areas that can make working from home, just as productive as it can be fun.
