What I think is important to add here too, is just the fact that movies like this exist today and are being produced at a greater pace, alone speaks loudly for the changes that are in place. Material like this is becoming more common, whether in movies, books, or various other forms on the world wide web.
People from all over the world are connecting like never before. It is a great time to be alive, and I truly believe the best is yet to come. This is where 2012 – We’re Already In It, is a perfect addition to this beautiful time.
Background of 2012 – We’re Already In It
2012 – We’re Already In It is a documentary that was released in 2009, produced and directed by award winning American film maker Patty Greer.
Patty began making full feature documentaries about extra terrestrials & crop circles with no previous training, desire, or experience whatsoever, after having an incredible out of body experience. Within 18 months she had created 3 documentaries (seemingly) on her own. Today Patty specializes in topics like crop circles, ETs, UFOs, and 2012.

Personal Commentary of 2012 – We’re Already In It
Although movies like this reach so far out there, that they are not yet everyone’s cup of tea, for me these types of movies are some of the most exciting and enjoyable to watch. I have two words to summarize this film, fascinating and captivating!
This is a truly fascinating film, as it deals with not just the ideas of the Earth changes and the much heard about time of “2012” – but it dives into other aspects of the Universe as well.
I watched this film 3 times within a month and each time, loved it even more! Most of the speakers are just so inspirational, so balanced and peace-filled, that it is such a pleasure to watch. There is wisdom, science, theory, philosophy and spirituality shared in this film, which makes it for one super exciting platform.
Now having said that, I also understand that this is not a film for most in the mainstream audience. For those of us who are curious, really open minded, and like to delve deeper into some of the “mysteries” out there, this will be both an entertaining and educational film. For others however, depending on your personal comfort levels, it may be too much “out there” to be sought after currently. And that is okay, we all are brought to the material best for us, at just the right time.
For me personally, the changes on the Earth are a fascinating topic on their own, and I have no doubt that a change is upon the Earth that is not just driving climate change, but so many societal changes as well. I am sure of this, because I feel it personally as well as globally. Now throw into this mix the mysterious phenomenon of crop circles, and you have some really interesting possibilities.
Before this film, naturally I have heard of crop circles, but I did not give them much attention. I knew that some were man-made, while others were too magnificent to be described by any rational means. However, I just let it be. I guess living also in an area where crop circles are not a normal occurrence adds to it as well. I am sure the people of the United Kingdom especially, feel differently.
Something else of interest that I want to add here, is that it is no secret that many people in our society still feel very uncomfortable with the idea of extraterrestrial life forms. Some think we are the only ones out there and cannot bring themselves to consider other life forms. Who knows, perhaps too many images of green aliens in the movies ruined it for us. I personally have no doubt that other beings are out there. To me it does not make sense that in a Universe so big and diverse, there wouldn’t be.
However, I don’t think that they are anything like the movies project, but simply other beings similar to us – most probably in energetic and other spiritual forms anyway. And as much as I respect famed scientist Stephen Hawking, I definitely don’t agree with his latest information where he stated that aliens are out there, but they are too dangerous to interact with, and most likely looking to take over our Earth. I think most other life forms outside of our Earth are much, much more evolved than us, and do not think in our simple ways of taking over or destroying others, but rather exist on more advanced levels of love and peace. This definitely explains some of the intricate mathematical patterns and symmetries found in so many of the beautiful crop circles.
This is why I loved how this movie brought out the idea that there are beings out there trying to help us, especially at this time period on our planet, not harm us. We have done enough harm to each other and this planet on our own.
What else I loved about this film is that it features very respected teachers, and looks at the horizons of our solar system with scientific and philosophical eyes. It is not trying to convince us of anything, or make us buy into this or that theory. The ideas presented are done so using great tact and care to come across as just one of the many options out there. But boy, do they drive the excitement meter within one’s mind, as I think many of us like a good mystery to decipher some of the possibilities out there.
My mind, heart and soul were truly touched by so many of what the various teachers had to say, but no one’s message was more meaningful to me than that of Patricia Cori. If you are not familiar with her work, I really recommend her. Her energy is just so incredible. There is such a peace, love and wisdom flowing through her.
What my reservations are about this film, is that it can be quickly discounted by a viewer who may not be ready yet for what the material presents. It takes a bit into the movie to really understand how the idea of the 2012 Mayan Prophecy ties into Crop Circles and Extraterrestrial life forms. So this is why I say, this is a leading edge movie and actually not one, that I would recommend just for anyone to watch.
Conclusion
Whatever you decide, if you are open to checking out a movie that thrills the mind and opens us up to a whole new world of possibilities, 2012 – We’re Already In It will do that. And even if you have no interest whatsoever in crop circles, the messages around 2012 and the beautiful change that we are in on this planet, are worth it alone to check out this film.
Many people with an interest in 2012 are waiting for some “big” event on the day of December 21, 2012 – but I too share the sentiments of this film, that what 2012 is all about, is happening now, right before our eyes.

Evita, this is great! I have a new weekly movie “date” with my friend, and we seek out spiritually-charged, vibration-raising movies like this. The trouble is, where can we rent them? (I used your site to try and find a handful at my local library — ones you’d seen & reviewed; no such luck!)
Anyhow, as you know, I also believe we are in a special time right now. Things are changing, and love is once again taking over. I also believe there are other “beings” out there, and from what I’ve heard from those who follow this type of thing and have sightings, many are actually (as you pointed out) trying to help us. It’s amazing the stories that are out there if one intends to broaden their perspective.
Thank you for letting us know about this movie. I’m not sure I’ll buy it, but I really want to find a rentable copy!

Now about renting them, that is the tricky part…. Aside from the very popular ones likes “What the Bleep do We Know?” – most video stores do not carry these for rental. I am not sure why? Perhaps it deals with the contracts they sign and which company’s movies they can carry? Perhaps they do not know about them? I am not sure….
So that is what is not so great about so much of this amazing material that it is only available to be purchased. What I would recommend is going to your local video rental store, and telling them about the ones you are interested in, and seeing if they can get them in as rentals? Maybe it is just as easy as the consumer asking for it?
Ideally what I would like to see with all of these amazing documentaries is an option on their site to Pay Per View. Some of them, but very few are doing this. But the ones that are, it is a fantastic option! You pay like $5, and it streams on your computer in excellent quality as if you popped in a DVD.

I agree, there is a lot of stuff surrounding 2012, and some of it is definitely better than others.
And I know many people still don’t “feel” the change or “sense” the change or see it, or believe it, but it is all a matter of what we focus on. To me, this change is so far gradual enough that if one is not paying attention it can creep up on them, when it is further in than a person is ready. Maybe not the best of examples, but I think of it and how some people approach aging. Some know change is happening and adjust accordingly and some just wake up one day and ask “what happened?” LOL :)
But it seems to me too though, that that gradual phase of the change that is upon the planet right now, has picked up and is accelerating since this new year 2010 started. Maybe it is just me, but I literally feel like time and things are speeding up….
We can’t deny the shift that is occurring in society and on our earth. The signs are too strong. This movie is another perspective that we can learn from. I’m not a big believer in crop circles being created by aliens. I like to have more proof.
I do like the idea of this movie opening people’s eyes to the changes that are occurring all around us. I’ll definitely put it on my Netflix list.

And I totally understand your thoughts about the crop circles. I think too many of them have been blown out of proportion for the wrong reasons, but personally I think there is more to them than “meets the eye” or what we have been openly told up to this point.
One thing I know about conspiracy theories and such, is that if there is something that comes out publicly, those bodies who are in control who do not want that kind of info leaked will actually either ignore it, or more so make a big joke out of it, to put doubts in people’s minds. So in the end, for me I just stay open to all the possibilities out there…
As for Netflix, I wonder if they have movies like this available… that would be great to find out.

Many of the Crop Circles are absolutely REAL. Don’t be fooled by the silence of the international press, they are controlled and usually offer only dis-information.
I have personally been in 80-100 Crop Circles from England (mostly) to Italy. My hair stands up on the back of my neck and I get goose bumps from head to toe – thirty feet before even entering the formation! It is astounding, buzzy, and noticeable, you CAN feel it.

People are waking up on a large scale now, Ascension is inevitable. And I feel that too, that just looking at the crop circles “wakes” or “triggers” something within us. I can only imagine what it must be like in one. Maybe one day I will get a chance to experience that.
As for the listeners… well I think slowly more and more are, but it is still very slow. For the most part, most people are still wrapped up in all things material and physical, playing out roles each day that they think define who they are.
But as you say, ascension is inevitable. I know this and feel this too… so it is just a matter of time :)

If anyone is arrogant enough to even consider anyone ‘lesser’ then them, they have missed the entire message of life, Love and integrity. We all have everything we need to evolve RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW. It’s a daily choice to use that wisdom ~ or go back to sleep.

To be brutally honest that is for me THE personal problem; “what and whom do I listen to?”
In a course of miracles it helps to clarify my confusion when it states that we are distrusting of guides and teachers. Yes, I have been led around the garden path too many times to trust much. I need to find my own inner guide, I need to find my own innate intelligence to guide me to and hear information that does serve my return to the divine powerful being that I AM. Evita and Patty and everybody who is trying to increase awareness, myself included are all probably dealing with this issue, at a personal level and as a teacher.
Who and what do I listen to? To add to that question is a question about my own teaching, is that trustworthy? The only way I answer these questions is through feelings. Is what I hear or what I share in my blog making me excited at a heart level, and if ‘yes’ I take the chance and open myself up.
Oh it is all very exciting though, it sure is making our current foundation shake and how wonderful is that.

And Wilma I think there is nothing wrong with looking within and trusting yourself. In fact, I think THAT is the ultimate place to get to. So it is not so much that we need to listen to others…. yes I think we should be open minded to hearing all… BUT everything we need is within us. We just have to open ourselves up, connect to our internal guidance, our higher being and I have no doubt that all the information, guidance and help will flow effortlessly. I know I feel it, when I am most connected.
And Wilma you said it all so well, in the end our feelings are the guidance system. You got it! I think you have all the pieces you need to know where to find your answers, now just connect within, trust and feel :)

I agree *we are in it now*. There is a huge physical shift and along with that a huge spiritual shift as well. I think the fear that the general public feels is the fear of such huge unknown…and many feel they have no tools, or perhaps not the right tools to deal with it all. The benefit to this is that more people are open minded because what they are ‘used to’ no longer seems to fit or be applicable. So the shift then is heart based versus mind based.
I am glad you brought this movie to our attention. Learning is about diversity; you don’t need to accept each idea, but to at least be open to the ideas enriches your life and opens you in other areas. And I’m definitely going to follow the link to Patricia Cori! Thank you:)

Yes, I agree Joy… it always seems to be the unknown that causes us the most stress, fear or anxiety. But I think this is where a certain faith and trust come in.
It is funny I always think, religions try to instil faith and trust in their followers, and it seems on the surface that they did a great job, but shake things up a little, and it seems like nothing more than words not put into action to me.
So yes, more open mindedness is fantastic and I think that is all part of the plan. And you got it, whatever info comes to me, or whatever I read, everything talks about a shift to heart centered living.

There is very little income in making documentaries, I was told this in the beginning – but I was driven beyond my own thoughts to create these films. They are wonderous and I feel good about my investment. Now I need to get them out into the mainstream.
