Evolving Paradigms: Affirmations of Love and Light

Each day, each one of us is going to have thoughts, and say various words, as we interact with the world around us. In this process, many of us are awakening to understanding the power of the mind over all that we are and have in our lives.

What we need to always remember, is that in all those thoughts and words we are going to use each day, we can choose negative paths or positive ones.

To our mind it really does not matter, as it will process information regardless of the type and then project it outwards. But to our hearts, it does matter.

So many of us have yet to realize the power of the words and thoughts we read, hear, speak and think. So many of us still need to embrace the fact, that if we are going to exert effort thinking, why not make it positive and feel better while we are at it? In the end, the difference to the quality of our life is tremendous!

Upon doing a video of my personal home office for Karl Staib’s Work Happy Now site, a few readers had asked what exactly is written on the so-called “Paradigm Tree” that is featured in the video, and stands between my and my husband’s desk. Hence today, I will share with you all, our key paradigms by which we live, or what can otherwise be known as our evolving paradigms affirmations. Evolving – for as we grow and change, so will they.

“I contribute to the whole.”

“I consistently create constant and never ending improvements to all areas of my life.”

“I invite all to be inspired.”

“I engage in being transparent and truthful.”

“I embrace all without judgment, prejudice or labeling.”

“I fall in love with my vision, ideas and creations.”

“I live with passion.”

“I am a spiritual being, having a physical experience.”

“I demonstrate the highest version of who I am.”

“I transform my thinking, to transform my life.”

“I attract unlimited resources.”

“I am patient and loving, even when I have adversity.”

“I believe now is all there is.”

“I admire people’s differences without discrimination.”

“I seek opportunities in change.”

“I adore my husband/wife, and the unity we share.”

“I cause all my experiences.”

“I believe we are all one, and are all aspects of each other.”

These are read by us sometimes several times a day, sometimes every few days, sometimes one at a time, or several at a time or all at once. There is no set time or ritual for these. The point is that within my workspace, there is always this symbol of how I resonate and project myself out onto the world.

Some of us choose to have a journal, a vision board, a poster, a scrapbook or any other of so many ideas, in how we can present our personal affirmative paradigms. The point is to choose one that makes you happy and really works for you. For us it consists of a metal “tree” that has clips to normally hold photos, and making our own cards with the above affirmations to put on it. This is kept in a place, that is accessed easily.

Reading such “affirmations” reminds me of my highest version and makes me always want to rise up to that, and live it out on every level. This is where the quality of the thoughts and words you use each day, makes a huge difference to the quality of your life, and it can all start with the affirmations, paradigms or beliefs you hold.

Being reminded by these of “who I am” or “how I am“, has a really incredible effect of truly making me a better person, even when it is not easy, or the situation would much rather bring out a less evolved side of me. This is why again, the type of thoughts, words, reading material, activities, and even people you surround yourself with each day, have a huge outcome where the quality of  YOU and your life is concerned.

So today, I invite you to make some of your own evolving paradigms affirmations to remind you of your highest version, and how you want to live and resonate. You can start by answering for yourself some general questions about life and the best way you can or would like to view all parts of it, or you can simply write down some statements which you feel empower you, inspire you and bring out the highest version of you. Then, simply incorporate them into some written or even audio, fun, personal way, which you can use easily and readily.

Have fun and enjoy making your own evolving paradigms affirmations. Look forward to hearing some of your own in the comment section below.

Evita, Your words are so beutiful. I am going to plant my paradigm tree today. I am constantly drawn to read your articles as they seem to be in parallel with my personal development. I am bursting with excitement for this Sunday for i am embarking on a new growth experiece. I will have the opportunity to share my energy work with the parents of the children at the Ronald McDonald House associated with Childrens Medical Center. My Healing Touch (biofield energy) teachings have lead me to want to share with others the desire to show them how to experience their own energy field and balance their chakras. I will guide them in connecting their root chakra to mother earth and their crown chakra to thier brightest star. I feel enriched just with the prospect of helping others just as you have enriched my life with your words. A heart felt thanks David

      Hello David

David, I cannot thank you enough for the beautiful and encouraging comment! Your words were the first thing I read this morning, and they illuminated my morning with such love, and set such an incredible tone for my whole day. Thank you so, so much for that!

It is really incredible how much our words and positive energy carries through this Internet medium – we can touch each other’s lives in so many positive and beneficial ways!

I am so happy that you shared with me and all the readers about your exciting venture this Sunday! What you are doing is incredible!

It is interesting that you feel a parallel between what I write and your path, as energy work and healing is exactly what I want to continue to pursue myself and interact with others about. I am admiring your courage, as I do not yet have it to go out and speak to others about the power of the energy field and healing. I feel it myself and have generated amazing energy in my hands and one day hope to help so many other people out there heal and teach them as well about healing themselves.

Many blessings to you, and please feel free to share how it all went on Sunday :)

  2. My favorite is “I demonstrate the highest version of who I am.”

When you see this on your tree I can see how it encourages you to live to a high standard. I have a cork board with my affirmations on it. It helps me stay focused on making myself and my business a success.

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Karl

Thanks, it really does put a certain way of thinking, being and looking at the world within me. And I love it! Each one of those sayings paves the road for the highest version of myself as I interact with myself, others and the world.

Great to hear you have found something that works for you too. These types of things really do help in so many ways!

  3. Evita,
I want to know where to get the tree?!?

I have made 150 affirmation cards on index cards with colored markers. They are in zip lock baggies so I can carry them in my suitcase, car, purse etc. I hate to be without them;)

    My favorite is:
“I work for God. My job is to show up, have fun, adna do as much good as possible for as many people as possible everyday.”

Thanks for all of your information and goodness. xoxo

  4. Lance says:

    Evita,
As I read through this, I cannot help but think of my evening last night – and of being part of a very personal, very intimate, very caring healing service. As I was speaking to this small group of beautiful souls – the theme around it all was: we are all one. So fitting that today I should read this post – and be drawn to the last listed affirmation you have shared. Evita, I believe that very much – we are one, we are connected, and we are all – at our core – love.

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Lance

That is beautiful Lance to hear – thank you for sharing. It is incredible how in moments of connection like that with others, the idea of us as one just seems so normal, and the way it should be. It is only when we disconnect from others, engage in things that are foreign to our soul, that we begin to feel the separation.

      WE are LOVE!

  5. Chris Edgar says:

Hi Evita — I usually don’t think of myself as doing affirmations, but now that I think about it, I do have a few phrases written on a piece of paper on my desk that are along these lines. One says “breathe into the upper back,” where tension can collect for me, and another says “watch for the origin,” which is a sort of cryptic way of telling myself to watch for the sour feeling that starts coming up in my body when I’m about to go down a certain negative path of thinking. Becoming attuned to when that’s happening has been a huge gift to me.

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Chris

Wonderful Chris to hear. Yes, it is these little ways we have as reminders or cues to remind us of what is important and who we really are, that are so beneficial.

With time, I know none of these are needed, but the world around us is busy, loud and full of pulls on us, so it never hurts to have these ways of connecting back to our paradigms and what we stand for – who we are, to remind us of our highest versions and live those out.

      Thanks so much for sharing!

  6. Megan "JoyGirl!" Bord says:

    Hi, Evita!

I absolutely LOVE those! Wow… And as I read each one I thought, “Yes, that’s precisely how I view Evita.” You ARE each of those statements – you embody them so well! And while I haven’t met Markus yet, I have a good feeling that he does, too.

What an awesome thing! I may have to create one of my own.

    Thank you!

  7. Hilary says:

Hi Evita .. I love this idea .. and having them out in front of you to remind you – when you need to be reminded, not have to go scratching for them! We can help ourselves so much by having these little tips and tricks nearby to brng us back to who we are, and why we’re here.

Evolving Paradigm Affirmations of Love and Light .. lovely title .. thanks – Hilary

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Hilary

      Thank you!
Yes, having them in a place that is easily accessible is such an important part of this. It is one thing to have them, but if we hide them in a drawer never to be found again, it may defeat the whole point.

  8. Evita,
This is awesome! I have a home office too…and this would work wonders in terms of inspiration while I write and counsel. I am a quote collector..so I have quotes written everywhere…books, notes, desktop….
But this is such a fun way to have inspiration right in front of you at all times. I have got to make myself one of these :)
Plus, I went to karls site to see your video…and loved your home office tour. I dont know how i missed it before.
And each of these affirmations are so beautiful. Just like you :)
    Much love,
    Z~

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Zeenat

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this Zeenat and your much appreciated feedback!

It is my intention to make more videos… so far the process has been slow, but I enjoyed so much making that one for Karl’s site!

      Blessings and love to you!

  9. suzen says:

Hi Evita! Thanks for the link – I ordered 2 trees – one for home and one for here at the lake house. At home I have quotes on 3 x 5 cards I’ve collected like forever and I shuffle them up, clipping one to my lamp. I like your tree so much better – and wow, great afirmations too! (Yes, it’s true – I have internet at the lake! Life is good! haha!)

You are so right about chosing our words/thoughts. They are responsible for our very health so obviously VERY important!
    hugs,
    suZen

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Suzen

Wow, that is awesome to hear!

You know what suZen – internet today, is like having fresh running water. I know not everyone will agree. But I value it a lot. I don’t need radio or tv, per se, but internet, yes!

How else would I stay connected with people like you, and be able to write and share my joy and passions with others worldwide?
So it is fantastic to hear that you have Internet up there as well – I am sure it will come in very handy!

  10. Walking in Stillness says:

If we are true to our Word…
When we Live what we Say…
When we transcend our Lies that we tell ourselves…
    When we stop being hypocrites…
When we are creating each Moment fluently…

Then there is no longer anything to affirm. We are no longer separated from what we are saying or sensing.

One Becomes then that which we invite into our lives through our words.
Words then bring forth Magic upon the Landscape that is our personal Universe.

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hello Walking in Stillness

Living what I say – this is key for me!

And all the pieces that you wrote are so beautiful and true. I love transcending along to that state of being where all you write here is who I am.

  11. J.D. Meier says:

I like your distinction between the heart and mind in choosing paths.

The leaves of your tree are empowering and inspiring.

  12. Hanlie says:

I really needed to read this today, Evita! Affirmations make a huge difference for me, but I’ve been neglecting them lately and as a result I’ve been feeling fearful and petulant. Time to remind myself again who and what I REALLY am!

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Hanlie

All things do come to us exactly when we need them. And it is amazing how in this world, it is so easy to get caught up with the physical ways of living, rather than the spiritual. It takes I think quite a bit of spiritual practice to the point where we can live more naturally from that point and no longer be influenced by the physical constraints.

Thinking of you and sending you love!
