That is the first thing that comes to my mind as I am in awe of the material and discoveries I make each day. Ever since I have become a seeker of the truth, the abundance of material that flows to me and through me has been astonishing.

My latest attraction for knowledge and truth has brought me to discover the latest venture going on, on our planet as we speak. In this New Age of awakening, at this time of the consciousness shift, there comes the movie for our times – “Time of the Sixth Sun – A Journey of Awakening“.

Movie Overview

As I watched this trailer, I have to tell you I was in this unexplainably amazing state of joy. You know that feeling when everything seems perfect, everything is exactly how it is meant to be and you can feel your inner being shouting with joy, “Yes, yes, yes!”

I wanted to see this movie now and absorb all that wonderful wisdom and energy from it that I could. Well if you found that trailer as moving as I did, we are going to have to wait patiently a little more. The movie is set to come out this fall (2008). For now it is still in its final stages of production.

Time of the Sixth Sun is described as:

A multi-platform film project about the awakening and transformation of global consciousness, a witnessing of these times and the huge potential for change in the world  in the way we relate to it and the way we live in it.

The movie will guide us on a quest to discover the meaning of 2012.  Civilizations throughout the ages have indicated through ancient calendars and visions that 2012 will be a pinnacle time in the evolution of mankind. In the West, many are noticing an increase in life’s synchronicities and are experiencing time as speeding up.  Scientists accept that global warming is a reality.  Increasingly the world is seeking answers and the clock is ticking.

The collective consciousness is waking up to a higher awareness and being more than ever before. Some on our planet can continue to sit by and reject the idea that anything is happening. But the change is upon us whether we choose to accept it and believe it or not.

It is hence time to wake up and most importantly stop blaming “God” for what is wrong with us and the world. It is time to stop sitting by passively and asking God for help. The divine is within each one of us and we are not helpless creatures.

Too many people over hundreds of years relinquished all responsibility for their actions and look where we are today; our environment is in crisis, wars still rage on and the hungry and poor continue to suffer, while the egos of the rich continue to gain strength.

The first step to waking up is acknowledging that we are accountable and responsible for our actions. We were indeed created in the image and likeness of God – not many will argue with me there, but too many of us use that phrase in an empty and meaningless fashion. God, Source or whatever you want to call it, is indeed creative energy and so are we. Hence we must embrace that we are creating our own realities and our world through every thought, word and action.

God Reflects In Each of Our Eyes

As I stated above, the fact that we are created in the image and likeness of God is the truth, but a truth that has been greatly misguided.

When many faiths today use this line, they do not bring the human being to the level of God, instead they bring God to the level of the human being. Hence most children around the world are taught and believe that “God” is an old man, who loves you, but will get mad if you do not do as you are supposed to according to his ways.

I don’t think I can think of a greater injustice than to belittle and bring God-consciousness to the level of the physical, egoic mind. 

It is thus time to proclaim and accept openly that yes, we are divine, we are powerful with our thoughts, words and actions. This is not blasphemy, but recognition of the truth. Why do humans constantly need to think that they are somehow innately “bad”, “unworthy” and sinful creatures? Does anyone using those paradigms ever stop and realize what a mockery they are making out of God? This all powerful being can create anything and everything and yet “he” created these less than perfect beings.

I understand that most of us on this planet still speak from the mind of our limited ego and hence cannot grasp the above ideas. But they are delicious once you do, for it frees your spirit to experience and live out life in the wondrous state of joy that we were meant to.

We are indeed “the perfect manifestation of spirit.”

Be in Complete Surrender, Be Conscious

One of the greatest universal truths is the flow of life. Life source, energy source flows like water no matter what. Whether we look to the writings of the ancient Lao Tzu or more modern teachers like “Abraham Hicks“, it is only when we are in the flow of life that we feel joy, peace, freedom and experience “heaven”.

Many of us today however have lost our way in this flow and have instead embraced a resistive stance. These people are easy to spot – they are angry, they are anxious, they are stressed, they are simply not themselves. To them life seems “hard”, to them everything seems to be a struggle.

It is only when we surrender to the flow of the great stream of life that we get to taste the delicious richness of this physical experience. This does not mean be helpless and do nothing. It means be conscious and in that consciousness proceed down the stream of life that will always carry you to the joy, peace and unity that is innately yours.

Step to the Next Level of Collective Consciousness

For hundreds of years various religions have been using this line to idolize Jesus and in various ways control the participation of their members. But anyone who has read A Course in Miracles: Combined Volume and understands Christ Consciousness knows that, that is not exactly what that quote is about.

Christ came forth to pour out his amazingly evolved consciousness and yes indeed to teach us of what amazing things we are capable. Hence, one being on their own is indeed a powerful creator and consciousness, but groups of beings are even more powerful and manifest much faster – that is what is known as the Collective Consciousness.

It is when we bring our thoughts, our ideas, our words and actions together that we are capable of more amazing things and creations than one could ever imagine. It is then that we can also powerfully live out Christ Consciousness.

We have been stale for too long. We have given up our thoughts and beliefs to others. We have relinquished our accountability and our creative power. The New Age of awakening is hence, more than anything else, a rise to the next level of human collective consciousness. We have already started to create together magnificent things and began healing the world… and to think we have just begun!

I Love You, No Matter Who You Are

One of the best parts of this shift in consciousness and this great awakening is that love is going to be the guiding factor. We are moving into a time when the phrase “I love you, no matter who you are” will be the norm, used by anyone and everyone.

The best part too about this New Age is that it brings with it unity and inclusivity of all. I am sure it makes your heart leap with joy, as it does mine, at the thought that we are going to break down all walls of resistive, dividing, hateful, stereotypical, prejudice and unjust thoughts, words and actions.

After all… love is all there is and we are all one.

Living a Divine Life In A Human Form

Many religions still hold the thought that only Jesus was somehow both divine and human. And if you are one of those people, ponder some simple thoughts; for about 400 years after Jesus’ death humans argued if and just how “divine” and “human” Jesus really was. Some cannot make sense of it to this day.  Jesus is said to be the son of “God” and yet we are all sons and daughters of “God” – are we then not all one?

As I said previously, Jesus, just like many other enlightened masters throughout the history of our Earth were able to demonstrate for us our divine nature. The problem with this of course is that so few of us listened and learned from his example. For many his message just seemed to widen the gap between us, the “unworthy” human and “God” – the out of reach entity.

The truth is today with this massive global shift of consciousness more and more people are realizing that indeed we all have a divine part within us, of course, how could it be any other way. And what is more is that, that divine part of us is not saved for some future time after we are “judged”, but is with us always and ours to live out right here, right now – it is the core of our inner being.

Hence, it is through love and the light of consciousness we can unite once again our divine experience in this physical reality. 

The Contribution of the Woman

In many ancient and modern, sacred and contemporary scripts the focus is on the woman being more closely tuned into the consciousness of the divine. As the book The Mystery of Love explains, the female energy has been diminished for centuries now and we have been living out of balance in a male-energy dominated society.  If you are a male reading this and this somehow upsets or offends you, I suggest you give your ego a deeper examination at this time and find out why you feel threatened by this.

I am not writing this because I am a woman, or because I have some feminist side in me. It has been simply noted by many tribes, generations and groups over the years that the female energy is less strongly bonded to the ego and has an emanating spirit based on compassion and gentleness.

For centuries now the female-energy has been suppressed, repressed and even persecuted. Hence today we still live in a very male-dominated society, which of course stems out ancient times. What this has brought us is war, violence, competition, separation and lack of compassion for self and others. It is no secret that women are more in tune with their emotions, which are the language of the soul and that women have a softer, more tender side to them. This of course is generally speaking.

Through this awakening however, the scales of balance are shifting and we are restoring the balance of the “line and the circle”, the “masculine and the feminine”, the male and female energy, where kindness, gentleness, empathy, care and compassion shall once again prevail for all.

Conclusion

In conclusion, these are indeed exciting times. Yes, for some there is negative stigma attached to modern times and to the events surrounding 2012. But remember, we each create our own reality. If you want to have doom and gloom and the end of the world as some cataclysmic crisis – then that is what you shall have.

If on the other hand you see this as the best possible time to be alive on this planet to experience and be part of some of the most exciting events, perhaps in all of Earth’s history, then that is what you will have. To you it may be the end of the world…as we currently know it and the birth of a new Heaven and a new Earth, where each and every single creation can enjoy infinite love, freedom and joy for all eternity.
