Book Review: Naked in Eden

Every so often there comes a book, written by someone that touches the world and the reader’s mind, heart and soul in the most profound of ways.

It tugs at our heart strings, expands our mind of how we see things, and awakens our soul. It evokes deep emotion of every kind, and lets laughter and tears both flow freely.

It connects ideas for us, that up to this moment stayed disconnected. It raises our awareness. It reminds us of who we truly are. It inspires us to be more.

I have just had the chance to read one such book, and it is Naked in Eden: My Adventure and Awakening in the Australian Rainforest by Robin Easton.

In this review I would like to share with you my thoughts on this book, although I say right up front that I truly don’t know if any words I share with you here about this book, will do this book justice. It is a book one feels, and needs to experience to understand its depth and passion. It is a book that is lived, not just read, that has the power to transform us at the core of our being.

About the Author

Naked in Eden was just released this week on September 1st, 2010.

It is written by Robin Easton – an author, speaker, musician, nature photographer, artist and adventurer.

Robin loves to hike, camp, canoe, kayak, swim and garden. She has a profound love for nature, whom she credits for her transformational awakening. At the age of 25, Robin left the United States to live in the remote, tropical Rainforest – the Daintree – in Queensland, Australia. She then spent much of her adult life in wild and remote areas.

Her adventures and experiences in nature lead her to connect and awaken to the beauty of life, getting in touch with herself and all of life, remembering who she really is and truly living out the love that we all are on every level of life.

You can read more of Robin’s writing, which she shares on Naked in Eden.

Format and Content

Naked in Eden is a book composed of 10 chapters, along with an author’s note and a short, not-to-be-missed introduction that sets an incredible tone for the entire book.

It is just over 300 pages, which are a relatively fast read due to the energy that draws the reader into its every page, and makes time almost stand still.

The 10 chapters are as follows:

Chapter 1 – The Journey Begins
Chapter 2 – Wierdos and Washouts
Chapter 3 – The Old Man by the Sea
Chapter 4 – Goin’ Troppo
Chapter 5 – Things Eating Things
Chapter 6 – The Way of the Earth
Chapter 7 – There is No Separation
Chapter 8 – Crocodiles, Feral Pigs and Pitch Black
Chapter 9 – Do Not Intervene
Chapter 10 - I Am an Animal

As there is some Australian vocabulary used, Robin has also included a glossary at the back of the book to understand the usage of these words.

Personal Commentary

My friends, this is the toughest review I have ever had to write thus far, as I truly feel no words in the world can describe the depth, energy and power of this book.

In a summarized description, the book is profoundly transformational and a joyously incredible read! It is nothing short of a masterpiece, as one is not only reading Robin’s words and her experiences of awakening in the Australian Rainforest, but one is also going through an awakening of their own. The awakening to the sacredness of nature as our greatest teacher, healer and lover. Through this book, Robin gives each of us a gift to open up to the power of nature’s love, intelligence, our connection to all there is and ignite a sacred love for life.

As some of you know, Robin is a dear friend to me, and while some may think this would surely skew the bias of what I write, I became interested in Robin’s work and writing first and foremost over 2 years ago, and then developed a friendship with her. To read something from this woman, to feel her energy even through the medium of the Internet, is enough to be moved and personally transformed for life.

The other reason, why I hold such praise for this book, is because I am a huge lover of nature myself – I feel ‘her‘ within ‘me’ and as ‘me’. I felt Robin’s words and experiences, as if they could be my own. I share her sentiments about the state of this Earth, what we have done and what we can do. Nature is also MY greatest teacher and healer as well, even though I feel I am just beginning to experience the profound depth she holds for me, compared to what Robin experienced as portrayed in this book. Nature, Robin, my personal awakening is also one of the reasons why today I choose to live in a more remote and natural area on this precious planet.

“With the Earth wrapped around me I was alive instead of isolated, sterile, and dead. As I woke to full consciousness I began to grasp my place in the scheme of things, and my realization of the equality of all life was born.”

Robin Easton, Naked in Eden

When I first picked up this book, I truly delighted with glee like a child who has just received a gift they have been longing for. I knew about this book in the making for about 2 years now, and couldn’t wait to experience it myself. Holding that book for the first time, I felt Robin’s energy and soul more deeply than I have thus far. The book was finally here and I shared in Robin’s extreme joy of putting together her experiences on paper, which have changed and shaped her to become who she is today.

Upon opening the book, I read every single page, and all that it contained from cover to cover. The introduction is incredible as it grabs the reader’s attention and sets an incredible tone of adventure for the book. This is not some fairytale, this is not some made up drama, or sci-fi story – this is the true story of coming face to face with life, healing and experiencing the sacred connection to all of life by one particular young woman.

As I begin to read chapter after chapter, I truly did not want to put the book down. Had my personal obligations at this time, not required it of me, I would have read this book in one sitting, whether it took 10 hours or 16 hours.

“I also learned that there is nowhere to “be”; we’re already there. Everything we need is right in front of us.”

Robin Easton, Naked in Eden

Here is a young woman, who was dying physically, emotionally and spiritually in our typical day-to-day fabricated society. One day with her husband, she embarked on a journey that would not only transform her, but heal her and fully bring her back to life and to herself, to truly know herself on every level. They decided to live in the remote Daintree tropical rainforest of Australia, indefinitely, with just basic supplies. The courage Robin exemplifies throughout the journey leaves one speechless

Amidst some of the most dangerous creatures and circumstances on this Earth, Robin sharpens her awareness and connects to all life, truly understanding for the first time ever who she is and what ‘oneness‘ truly means. From humorous bandicoots and wallabies to life threatening obstacles, she lives the delicate balance of life and death. She experiences her own “Eden“, nothing short of “Heaven.”

As she sheds away the layers of pain, her old conditioning, societally induced limitations, and moves through her fears, she strips away both emotional and physical layers that no longer serve, to expose who she really is. She truly is “naked in Eden.”

“Mother Nature began her work of stripping away the fabrication I’d called “my life”. She spoke directly to my innermost self, and the human-animal within me heard her voice, picked up its ears and grew restless.

The contrast between who I really am and the role I’d tried to fill in society was so great it was beyond understanding.”

Robin Easton, Naked in Eden

When I reached the ending, I hungered for more. Thus, I am delighted to hear that there will be a sequel, and perhaps Robin will even make it a trilogy.

I appreciated so many things about Robin’s style of writing and literary talents throughout this book. One of those things was that even though this type of story has the potential to be a “typical Hollywood drama“, Robin did not play into that energy once. There was no artificial suspense or drama built up at any point along the story. Every experience was raw and real, as if we were all there living it out next to Robin.

I also appreciate Robin’s vulnerability and courage to write all that she had, as often her experiences touched upon very personal and intimate areas of her life. Robin shared it all, with the authenticity in which it came.

What else I found just perfect, was that as I held a question of how this or that was done in the midst of living so remotely, Robin answered it usually in the next paragraph or page. And the poetry at the end of every chapter provided by Russell Hume was a perfectly beautiful addition.

I shared with you here but a few quotes from Naked in Eden, of the dozens of the amazingly profound pieces of love and wisdom that the book holds. It was impossible to pick my favorite, as every piece of wisdom held special meaning for me, and I wanted to share it all with you the readers.

This book is suited for anyone both young and old, and will encompass a wide variety of audiences as it reaches out to us from a sense of adventure first and foremost, as it brilliantly weaves in messages of awakening, love and wisdom.

“No matter how scientific, educated or advanced we become, our whole society appears unconscious. We seem to accept our separation from other species as an established reality.”

Robin Easton, Naked in Eden

Robin, thank you for taking me, and anyone else who reads this book on an incredible adventure – a journey of a lifetime. Thank you also for allowing us into the deepest, most intimate parts of your life as you experienced the magic, the beauty and the transformational healing from nature. It was a humbling pleasure to get to know you more intimately and understand better how it is that you are the unconditionally loving, kind, joyful, connected and emotionally-rich being that you are today.

May we all continue to awaken to the connection and sacredness of all life, and heal ourselves, as we heal our great Mother.

  1. Bernie says:

Evita, this is by far the best review and description of Robin’s authentic Masterpiece that will transform all those who feel that Nature is the greatest Portal back to Love.

Her book is a beacon of light that has the power to filter through the canopy of the concrete jungles of Death, to reach deep into the dark rooms that many have lodged themselves within where they are exiled to lack-luster stimuli.

Naked in Eden can truly only be experienced, but her perfect choice of magical words transport us back in Time to this One Moment where we are truly Free and in Love with all that we reflect upon. With the courage to move beyond the dark curtain of fear, we see that we are face to face with ourselves, where the world opens up, and life comes pouring out from our new-found vision.

Robin Sings, and as her last name implies, she awakens the world like the Sun Its Self as she shines new Life from the East at the Dawn of a new and great and true Civilization. The Dark Ages are finally over, and Robin has stepped out of the shadows to cry and melt away our collective tensions by making True Love to all that she encounters.

This book is a true Miracle from the open heart of a Crying Saint.

One’s life is sure to shift and transform as One begins to actually feel the process she spells out for Us ~ of waking up to who we truly are ~ a humane being of infinite Love.

Thank you Robin and Evita for being such shining examples of Beauty. You are Sisters that beat to the rhythm of the same Heart.

    • Robin Easton says:

Dearest Bernie, I read this after reading Evita’s words and I again have tears in my eyes. It is quite profound when you say: “The Dark Ages are finally over…” I too feel this. I feel a great wave of change, letting go, healing, release of fear, an opening, and, as you so beautifully say, “making True Love to all that we encounter.

I feel kindred souls connecting and encouraging each other in this awakening, and what is truly remarkable is that the Internet has been an energetic conduit to allow this to take place maybe more rapidly, more clearly, more obviously (tangibly/visibly) than ever before.

I love your line: “You are Sisters that beat to the rhythm of the same Heart.” This is so true, and there are more and more who are synchronizing with this heart beat of Mother Earth, the Stars, each other and….Love. I am so deeply glad that you share this heart beat with us. So glad. Love, Robin

    • bern says:

Yes to Everything that you so lovingly embrace Robin. You are one of the brightest Stars in my sky! Among us at evolving beings, we have become night lights, that shine as One Constellation in the Heavens above.

The internet feels like the outer manifestation of the inner telepathic connection between all kindred souls. Instead of the mail taking weeks or months to arrive from across the stormy Seas, the connection is now instantaneous. This is paralleling how our feelings are transmitted across the globe through the threads that allows us to share our dreams.

Our thoughts can direct our feelings to others, blessing their Adventures into the unknown, where new channels to the promised land are being charted and relayed back into the old world.

The flag for Infinity has risen where grand cycles begin free-flowing in All directions at Once.

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Bernie,

Thank you seems so little, but I feel what you are saying and I know you felt this book and my words here as well.

And to add to the emotions that I have been feeling in the midst of reading this book, writing this review and reading all the comments, I cannot thank you enough for adding in your beautiful, moving and transformational on their own, words, of praise for Robin’s book.

You have expressed so beautifully what this book is all about. And I am humbled and in deep gratitude for the love and support you shower me with.

  2. Robin Easton says:

    Dearest Evita,

I have sat her for probably 30 minutes, several of them tears ran down my face. The rest, just trying to absorb your openness, insight and reaction to this time of my life. Your wide open heart makes you stunningly beautiful, assessable, and allows our connection, even over thousands of miles. We both know there really is no time or distance, only love. What I felt reading this and your email was a fusing of our souls. You experiencing me, and me experiencing you. And what I felt is so beautiful, so untouched that it has no words. Like you I cannot even do justice to what you have experienced and shared here and in your note.

I am feeling my way into what I felt upon reading your words, and it was even something beyond what I just wrote. It was as if in your willingness to be open, you sent healing out into the entire world. I felt it pass through me and expanded out ward, so vast that your love not only flooded my heart, but the hearts of all beings ready to heal. Even if they aren’t ready or have a slightly different path, your love still lay down in their hearts to whisper to them and encourage their awakening. Dearest Evita in your openness, your tears, your love and laughter, you are not only healing me and you and those around you, you are healing the world, Evita. You. Are. Healing. The. World. In your tears and joy, you have praised to the Great Stars and Universe.

And even that does not describe what I feel when I feel your response to Life and Love, it is much more. I literally feel in my being, that you have contributed to the Universe re-membering itself. As if I felt a deep sigh, because the energetic fabric that makes up everything is now more intact (whole), stronger, lighter, more uplifted, more of itself has been returned to itself, more of itself has been seen, felt, and expressed. There is an awakening happening, a great shift, and dear Evita your beautiful tears, loving being, and wide open heart have just changed everything in the Universe. And I feel the Universe loving you so much, so intimately. When we are open, love comes in.

You have given me a great gift, one far beyond this INCREDIBLE heartfelt review. You have given your heart to the world, to the stars, to the wild, to me, to Bernie, to Julie, to Markus, and to so many many beautiful beings all over the planet, beings you may never meet, but they are effected by your openness, your reaching for Love. Even the trees in your yard feel this.

I am moved and changed by your experience. You are creating history, you are changing the world for those to come…and those who have been. Your tears, your vulnerability, your joy, your exuberance are your greatest strengths. They are shinning brave gifts to the world.

    We are connected.
    I love you,
    Robin

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Dear Robin,

I am responding what feels like so late, but not out of lack of time, but because since I wrote this review, and started to read the comments coming in, I felt like I simply needed to sit softly in the background and allow all of this AMAZING energy from you and the other commentators here to just fill me, wash over me and become me.

And I have to say it has become that. Your book Robin, is such a powerful work of art, and even as I was writing this review, I knew there was a much more powerful energy around me, than I was able to comprehend. How do we explain this? How does it happen? I don’t know. I don’t even think it needs an explanation, as feeling it, and living it is enough.

This book and the review took me through some incredible and strong emotions. And so I felt like I needed to just walk with softness and grace for the last week – to again truly feel and take in all that was said by you and others.

However Robin, my journey as I know it clearly with this book of yours is not done – it has just begun. I look forward to picking it up on many occasions (as I did so much highlighting) and simply getting lost in a passage on a random page.

As for the rest of your comment Robin, I am speechless and to add anything to it, would be to take away from it.

I will simply say – thank you – thank you for being you, here, right now in this physical experience and your amazing gifts, insights, experiences and energy and your abundant support always!

I love you dearly. I feel you on so many levels and look forward to living out the fusion of our souls that was born forth even stronger through this whole experience.

  3. I’m a huge fan of Robin. I love her blog and expected the book to be awesome. From this review it looks like she created a gem. I hope to read it soon.

    • Robin Easton says:

Dear Karl! I am so touched by your kindness here and on my blog. Your whole being radiates kindness. You are uplifting to be around and I love reading your posts and your comments when I see them. Thank you my friend, and hope you enjoy this wild time of my life. Hugs, Robin

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Karl

I highly, highly recommend it. It is a book that at the end of any “long” or “tough” day takes you into a beautiful place, where we can reconnect with ourselves and the deeper aspects of life!

  4. Wilma Ham says:

Robin’s book takes you far beyond what you ever will be able to imagine the world, the creation we live in,IS. She shows us who WE ARE. To see and experience the world through her is a gift I will always be grateful for. She shows how much is waiting for us when we can find the courage to go beyond our societal conditioning and release our senses from the filters society has put on them. The book is not such words, it is an experience of love, of wonder, of finally finding our home her eon earth, our garden of eden that has been there all along if only we could see it.
Robin, I do not know how to express my gratitude, you opened my eyes, you opened my heart, you opened the garden of eden.
Robin and Evita, much love, Wilma

    • Robin Easton says:

Dearest Wilma, I just loved your comment on my blog, and have responded. My words don’t even begin to touch the depth of what I feel. For me, words rarely do, especially with those I love and connect with so completely. I feel so connected to you. I loved how you said, “…it is an experience of love, of wonder, of finally finding our home here on earth, our garden of Eden that has been there all along if only we could see it.”

I really think this is true. Everything we hunger for and seek, is right under our noses. It amazes me how we humans are always seeking “elsewhere”, for something more complex, when all the while who we are and what we need is right in front of us. Dearest Wilma, I feel your gratitude, and know and understand it because it is how I feel about you. You are brilliantly alive, honest and you walk a powerful path, a true path that moves me and keeps on my own true path. I am so grateful for that. And very very honored to share this time of my life with you. Thank you for taking the time to read it, and more importantly, thank you for “seeing”. Much love to Wilma. Robin xox

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Wilma

What a beautiful way you explained Robin’s book here – thank you SO much for adding this in.

It is so great that you were able to experience this book as well Wilma, and share your amazing and rich insights with so many others as you now go forth along your path.

  5. Hi Evita. This is a great review of Robins book, it seems to have had the same effect on you as it had on me.

I am glad the world is going to have a chance of sharing Robin’s power, the bloggers world have had her for quite a while now. Now it’s the turn of everyone else to feel her energy and spirit.

    • Robin Easton says:

Dearest Steve, Thank you for all you have taught me all these months, so much about life and being beautifully auhtentic. You are always so kind, polite and helpful. And it is just who you ARE. That is what makes it and you so powerful. I’ve learned so much from you in all kinds of ways. But number one, you are an extremely kind soul. I am more than grateful dear friend. More than you may imagine. Much love to you and you dear family, Robin

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Steven

Thank you so much. I have no doubt this book will be similarly transformational for so many of us who are open to connecting with the greater part of life, and truly taking in the power it has for each of us personally.

Robin and her work are a rare and precious gift (I just cannot say that enough) and I have no doubt whoever comes across this book, will experience a part of themselves that they perhaps have not up to this point allowed forth fully.

  6. Joy says:

    Hi Evita and Robin,
Oh my! The review is amazing and the comments are equally as amazing. I love that this book exists and the momentum it’s gaining..Nature is my biggest teacher, my greatest love and to see it celebrated so, makes my heart very happy..
Robin, I am mesmerized by everything you write..either on your own blog or in comments on others..Your energy is incredible, I can ‘hear’ what you say..you are inspiring on so many levels. You have the gift to take what I *love* best about nature, about life, and to word it just so..And your Spirit is so radiant that your message will be well accepted and far reaching. My heart fills with gratitude for that..Thank *you* for the time and energy you invest in all that you share..

    • Robin Easton says:

Dearest Joy!!! YEAH! I have an email I’ve started to you. Just LOVED your note. Running behind with email due to books release. But your note blew me away. I have been to your site several times reading. You are one brave, gutsy, adventurous woman, a free thinker and free spirit. I am so moved by how you choose to live your life. It is an act of courage, freedom and, as Wilma says above, you have chosen “to go beyond our societal conditioning and release our senses from the filters society has put on them.” Wow!! Always listen to and trust your free heart. It knows. You know. You walk a bold and unique path. And there are those of us out here that not only support your vision, but are so with you in spirit! I know I sure am.

I love this line too: “Nature is my biggest teacher, my greatest love…” You and I could be speaking the words written on the same heart. Like Bernie above says, “You are Sisters that beat to the rhythm of the same Heart.” I think so many of us are finding our kindred soul friends, and in doing so are making ourselves stronger, and even more authentic. We are able to see truth reflected back to us. You do that for me. I cherish your kind words here and am so blessed by them, and you dear Joy. What a prefect name for you. Much love, Robin

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Joy

Thank you so much Joy and ditto about the comments!

I am so touched by how many of us today are connecting back to our Mother – remembering in the process who we really are, our divine nature and magical essence.

  7. Hilary says:

Hi Robin and Evita .. – Robin – fantastic that the book is out there and ready to be taken up the by the world, or as Bernie says .. those of us who can understand the connective threads of life that are filtering round now more easily with the web of the internet.

Evita – that was a great review .. so in keeping with Robin’s own words .. so together – that I could feel you experiencing Robin’s experiences as she tells her story ..

Then the comments .. what more can one say.. I look forward to ordering and reading the book .. which I definitely will do .. as my own experience of life grows.

The words that stood out for me are: the last highlighted paragraph in the Review post:

“No matter how scientific, educated or advanced we become, our whole society appears unconscious. We seem to accept our separation from other species as an established reality.”

We are aren’t we .. it’s terrible how self-commercially concerned we are .. and even how we’ve gone one step further .. we don’t actually care for other humans .. only self ..

Let’s hope Bernie’s thoughts ring true sooner rather than later … and the tide of collective tensions melts away allowing True Love in …

Thanks – wonderful review and the book – well .. I will read with great pleasure .. Enjoy your weeks … Hilary

    • Robin Easton says:

Oh dearest Hilary! You are amazing! I love what you wrote here; it’s so insightful: “I could feel you experiencing Robin’s experiences as she tells her story.” That is exactly what I felt too. That was some powerful expressing/writing on Evita’s part. It was as if I felt her response as she read. It was pretty emotional for reading her review. It was like I was half Evita and half me. I know that sounds so unusual, but I was feeling both her and myself. A very powerful experience.

I also LOVED how you picked up on Bernie’s insights because he and you expressed SO beautifully what I was trying to say.

I think he is right when he says, “The internet feels like the outer manifestation of the inner telepathic connection between all kindred souls. …our feelings are transmitted across the globe through the threads that allows us to share our dreams.”

That really is so cool that you feel this too. I think many of us are becoming much more aware of this, Hillary. I really enjoy how you so quickly pick out the key things in posts that you read. I see it in other comments you leave. It was interesting for me to read Evita’s post because as she quoted me, I often found myself thinking, “Did I say that. Wow!” LOL! :)

when I wrote “Naked in Eden”, I really was back in that rainforest. I lost myself over and over to the forest, while I sat in my office and wrote or typed. It was a remarkable experience, one I hope will repeat itself in my second book, because it’s the only way I know how to write.

Hilary, I am always grateful for your love and insight and genuine caring for others. You are a deeply good person. Love, Robin

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Hilary,

Thank you so much Hilary for your feedback. And yes, I have been taking in the comments here, and allowing their energy to just wash over me. What an incredible gift and addition to this review and Robin’s work.

I am truly humbled to read what all have shared here, and love the adventure this took us all on!

  8. Lance says:

    Evita,
Your review here is so deeply connecting to the soul. And in that, I sense very much how moving this was to read (…and now…I really must start to read my copy!!).

    Robin,
You have created something very special…I know this. I know this, because I know the depth with which you write, and how you personally connect with each word that you put into print. You are a gift in this world, you shine such amazing light out onto all of those you touch, and you are love in action…

    Evita and Robin,
You both are deeply caring and loving souls….and it is truly a gift to know you both…

    Much peace,
    Lance

    • Robin Easton says:

Oh sweet Lance, I love seeing you everywhere!! Your comments, like little petals of love strewn along the path everywhere you go. Thank you for seeing both me and Evita (and so many others). You are very much one of the souls that Bernie talks when he says, “The internet feels like the outer manifestation of the inner telepathic connection between all kindred souls.” I just love this and that I connect with you in this way, on a soul level.

You are always with me and have become part of the fabric that IS me. Thank you for all you give, dear Lance, to me and so many other beautiful souls. Much love, Robin

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Lance

Thank you Lance. Your words mean a lot, especially that I connected so deeply with this book and Robin’s work and energy. And yes, it was very moving to read. Through the laughter and the tears, this book allows one to truly feel themselves as fully human – raw and powerful emotion at its best!

Thank you for your loving thoughts and energy always!

  9. Hi Evita and Robin,

I am currently reading “Naked In Eden” so I did not fully read this post. But I just want to say that the book is so beautiful and a joy to read. I love the courage with which you have lived your life, Robin. I can relate a lot to your story because I too left what I knew to go look for something more profound.

Not everyone goes in search for meaning. It is a very worthwhile journey and may your story inspire others to do the same!

    • Robin Easton says:

Dearest Nadia, YES! I too have very much seen the similarities in our lives. As you say, “…left what I knew to go look for something more profound.”

This independent thinking, outside-the-box-thinking is very prevalent in all your writing. It is one of your great strengths. I always feel so free when I read something of yours because it is original and comse from a free thinker. And every time I am DELIGHTFULLY impressed and go away refreshed, invigorated, and with a sense of being set free.

I am so glad you chose and still choose the journey that you did/do, because you confirm much for so many of us. Much love, Robin

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Nadia

I cannot wait to hear your experiences and thoughts about it! Wishing you an amazing journey through the Rainforest of life ;)

  10. Julie says:

I feel speechless. Everyone has already shared my own thoughts! :)

Evita, your review is the closest one I’ve read to my own experience. It’s so very hard to put into words such a feeling of immersion as I had when reading “Naked in Eden.”

Bernie, you say it here: “Naked in Eden can truly only be experienced.” This isn’t a book that is read and understood. It’s a book that is felt. And the feeling spawns deep understanding of so many aspects of life.

Robin, your courage in being fully yourself in the retelling of your story of loves and loving should lift and empower all who read your delightful book. I hope it finds its way around our globe!

    Much love,
    ~Julie

Dearest Julie, You are with me every day. I thought of you all morning, and have so much to ask, so much to share. So look forward to when we do. I know it will happen. I know it was meant to happen. You are a gift in my life that has no words. But I KNOW that we are connected, and I rest in calm because I KNOW that YOU know this as well. Thank you for being open to my crying/laughing message. Yours was a precious precious gift. I love you, Robin

      Hi Julie,

Wow Julie – that is so wonderful to hear, and on so many levels does not surprise me too much, as I feel we share a similar love for life and nature :)

And like you said, it is hard indeed to put that feeling of immersion into words. It is truly incredible what happens when we “feel, live and experience” a book, and not just read it.

Next Julie is yours :) (no pressure…. but I already see and feel the day, when I will have the privilege to share your work with others here :)

  11. Evita,
What a wonderful review and testimonial to our friend Robin.

    Robin,

This book and the ones that follow are why you were born. But you already know that don’t you?

I like Julie am left speechless so I’ll just say “ditto” to all that has been said.

    • Robin Easton says:

      Oh dearest Tess,

I cannot believe you wrote this line: “Robin, this book and the ones that follow are why you were born. But you already know that don’t you?”

You are SO amazing, so insightful. There have been times that I have had this overwhelming vision and feeling from seeing this for just a bit. And I can hardly believe it, it’s such a vast feeling. I think it is one of the thins that I will better understand and see I move more into the world with my speaking. I just love you for telling me this and seeing it.

      SO MUCH Love,
      Robin

  13. Wow!

This sounds like an incredible book that I cannot wait to read myself! :) Upon reading the review, I keep thinking of “True Hallucinations” by Terence McKenna. I love discovering new authors, new books, new passageways to infinity – how exciting!

Robin, thank you for having the courage and noble vulnerability and commitment to create this and share it with everyone! May its messages be received by all those awaiting its pages and may it speak to the truth, to the heart, as clearly and lovingly as the Messenger that you are. :)

Bernie, what beautiful words you shared to embrace Robin’s work! And Robin, how lovingly and powerfully you sent waves of gratitude for all that Evita is accomplishing daily.

This is such a shining place to walk within~

    Love and Light to All,
    Unity

      Hi Unity,

It truly is an amazing set of words, ideas and experiences lived by one woman, and radiated forth to thousands of us out there. Being a part of this book’s energy is an incredible gift, and knowing your love for nature and connection with her, I know you will just adore this book as well!

  14. Stacey says:

    Evita,

I love your review of Robins book, it is the best I have read yet. You have such a beautiful way with words.

With this review you not only illuminate Robins work, but also draw more people to reading it. You take feelings that I experienced while reading this book and put it into words! It is truely an instant classic that so many will love! Robins writing draws you into the story, you are standing there next to her in the rainforest!

Thank you for sharing such a lovely review!

    • Evita Ochel says:

      Hi Stacey,

Thank you so, so very much. Reading this book, writing this review, reading people’s replies has been such an incredible experience, and it opened up a whole new journey for me – an exciting journey expanding my own personal discovery further.

In reading this book, we really are “next to Robin” in the Rainforest. I think that is one of the most magical and captivating parts of this book and why so many will connect with it, in ways they never even imagined!
